this is a message to all avril fans... avril is a feral posing unoriginal freak. she has no idea! my mission is now to let everyone realise the truth about the poser that can neither sing nor play guitar.

Everyone in this world has a right to their own opinion, whether vocalized or whether remaining imbedded in ones gray matter. I am just curious as to why person "antiavril" is sooo anti-avril. No one and I mean no one in the music/entertainment industry is completely and 100% real, original, authentic and NEW. Every piece of talent and skill is always derived from something or someone. The opinion that she is not original and/or can not play guitar is moot. Why? Because she is bringing home the dollars and the fan base that supplies the dollars. This, whether good or bad, is a fact. When an individual or company supplies a good or a service that is repeatedly requested and is exchanged for reuseable currency, it matters not if the idea, style, skill e.t.c is original/fabricated, the need/want is being supplied!
Like I stated above, I'm just curious in why soo angry! Not hatin just keepin it real!

Okay, but did you know that Bobby Brown claims to be the "Original R&B King" and WE ALL know that is a bunch of bullplop! A lot of artisit and entertainers are always claiming shnit and anyone with any sense will know better. Avril L. is a new wave or new alternative Alanis Morrisette, that's it!!

y cant u just leave her alone? all avril is doing is being herself and writing a few songs for everyone. its fine for you to say your opinion of her but that doesnt exactly mean that your opinion is the truth and everyone has 2 go by that.
and really i wonder if u can sing or write any better than she can so really the jokes on you my friend.
everyone has a right to dress or act or sing how they want and i think the meanest thing is to put someone down because your bored an dont have anything better to do than 2 bag someone because of that. self confidence is a great thing to have and the last thing these people need is an idiot like you to try and take that from them.

i personally would say that all this she came out wit is to do wit fame. she probably feels like 1 in a million becomin famous n all n so she thinks she different n cus she knows she sold so many albums n singles she thinks people think shes different. Personnaly i think she different. She a 20th century girl who sings decent musik not the same to groups like NOFX or Linkin Park or Limp Bizkit. i dont really know who to compare her to honestly. u maybe could compare her to sum old singer like Alanis Morrisette that yolandaparrilla mentions who ever Alanis is i dunno. But to me Avril is a whole new world to musik. Think shes kool n aint afraid to drive round town wit her musik blastic high on me sub n speakers. Treat ya self avril!!!

i agree that avril sucks, and i'm going to try to explain why. in my personal opinion, her music is very crappy. but that's just opinion. she sucks because she is selling music with her image. she dresses that way because it's what the people want. if you have seen the pictures of her from high school, you'll notice that she looks like a normal kind of girl. people don't change like that overnight.

she contradicts herself. she calls herself punk, notices that she's getting crap for it, and then says that she never said she was. she did.

The only thing i like about avril lavigne is SOME of her songs. i guess some of u r wondering y i stick up for her, and i do that because i just dont think its right to believe in hating someone so much when u dont know them, and all u know is their side infront of the cameras. im sure that all of us wouldnt act ourseleves if we had paparazzi and cameras in our faces so much.

but one thing that i disagree on about avril is that she claims to dress how she does normally, and be herself all the time, but like friend_of_marx said, she didnt used to be a punk or goth, and i think that her dressing like this is because she believes it will get her more publicity and attention than she already has. most of the attention she gets is people like us talking about her non stop, in good and bad ways. in a few words, i think that avril is just an attention seeker, and thinks that by posing to be as a goth or punk will give her more and more attention.

Avril is more fake than Jordan's chest sorry, that was a slightly random comparison...Anyway, I personally think that if Avril wants people to like her more then she should drop the fake identity she's built up for herself. If she would just admit that she is not punk at all (does she even know what a punk IS?!) and admit that her music is in fact pop then maybe people would give her more credit for being honest.
I know I know, I shouldn't judge her on the way she looks but her attitude is just awful! Okay, so her record company has made her wear the clothes to set trends and make her stand out from the other pop groups, and crikey it's worked! Punk is now *in*, which sucks because the people who were wearing the same style of clothes as Avril are now being called 'Avrilites' or whatever you call yourselves, including me...and I generally do my best to not fit in!
Another annoying thing is the way she boasts about what an amazing guitarist she is when she doesn't even play at her gigs! Grrrrrr! I think I'll stop now before I get really angry!

Yeah, I totally give her credit for all that, the success she has achieved at such a young age is admirable! I'm just not keen on her as a person, she doesn't seem to take it seriously...I dunno why I think that but hey. Anyhoo, yeah the only ones who have managed to get the same level of success as Avril has at her age are Britney and Christina, and look where they are now 5 years on....still going strong! So yeah, she's done brilliantly. Oh yeah one thing that really makes my hair curl is the way Avril is compared to Michelle Branch all the fecking time! I adore Michelle and I think that she is a lot more talented and modest than Avril, who was just given fame pretty much! Ah well

I will admit that I used to be a HUGE Avril fan and I used to idolize her back whens he first came out. But now I see that she's a whore, a liar, a poser and a retard.

I have heard her sing live, and she cannot sing.
She said that she would never show her body like Britany Spears or Madonna. Yet, she lets people sign her butt and she flashes it. And just look at this picture! Tsk, tsk, tsk...

And I have also seen pictures of her in suggestive situations and very revealing clothes. And they were not fake. As I have seen them all over Avril Lavigne fan sites.

She claims that her and her music are "Skater-punk" and yet she doesn't even know who the Sex Pistols are.

When her new CD "The Best Damn Thing" came out back in March or April, Avril said that she returned to her old Skater look for the album. But that look doesn't look skater! And her song "Girlfriend" is NOT skater at all. Her new look is more preppy and more poser-ish than ever.

She changed her look because she fell in love. But she could have at least ACTED like it instead of just dressing the part. She has the mentality of a 3rd grader. She said she wanted to be more grown up for her new husband, Deryk Whibley. But she doesn't act like it and her music most certainly does not portray it, either.

Avril said she was a cheerleader once. But she also said that in high school she always had guy friends and acted like one and was constantly getting drunk. How can you be a cheerleader and be like that? A REAL tomboy would want ANYTHING to do with being a stupid preppy cheerleader.

Avril, a REAL skater or punk do not write songs like "Girlfriend" or "Keep Holding On". And no, you are NOT the motherfawking princess, you're not EVEN a princess! Whoever named you "punk princess" must not know their ass from their brains. None of your music sounds punk or skater. It is clearly pop, even though you said that you didn't want anything to do with pop when you turned down singing with Aaron Carter on TeenNick.
But yet you were on the cover of Nick Magazine once, too. Coincedence? NO.

Avril also said, "I hate all the glam and gloss. It's all just sooooo fake." Yet she told Tiger Beat magazine that she just loved the "cute little rock" outfits and messing with hair extensions and she even bleached her hair blonde! She looks TERRIBLE in blonde hair. She keeps dying and bleaching her hair different colors. First, it was light brown. Then, it was blonde and black. Then, she bleached it all the blonde over and over again.
Avril originally said that she wanted a black wedding dress for her wedding. Then, she goes around saying that she wants a light colored one or a white one because she wanted to look like a princess!

I will admit to Avril playing the guitar well, since she's been playing since she was 12, but she doesn't write her own songs. On her first CD she had help from the record company for writing her own songs. Afterwards, she told Nick magazine that she always writes her own songs, ever since she picked up the guitar. And on her previous CD, Under My Skin, she had help from Chantal Kresviak(sp?) on almost ALL of her songs. I do like her song "Nobody's Home" and others, but I would not consider them punk or skater.

The worst thing about Avril is that she's a brat. She whines and pisses and moans until she gets what she wants. She even begged her record company over and over until they gave in to letting Chantal in on helping her on her songs for Under My Skin. -_-

And this is all I gotta say about Avril. I can't believe I used to like her and idolize her. I could care less for that 5 year old stuck in a 23 year olds' body.
