Perhaps out of sheer boredom you are here for a stroll amongst the dejected found within these halls, but it is much more likely that you are here to visit a patient of the ward or are a patient yourself.

While Its clear that A few forum leaders view my opinions with negitivity.....
Marc is in business to sell items Like this Forum, Inreview Is a working 'Model" With Experiments in different areas and collected data. In review serves as Reference to potential clients that Want to have their own. Very good stratagy on Marc's part (or the person who talked him into this). He can "Fine tune" This model through many Experiments. Human behavor is in this Model...Like it or not.. Educational levels coupled with personallity traits and 'Primal" instincts Are componets of Human behavor. This could be the answer to the problems that have been plaging some topics. I am Still trying to get this point across thats is the topic and Who it attracts for discussion.
[7] Demostrated A Trait that most have. he comment to me after I stated I have failed Students for lack of true understanding. He replied 'if I did the work I should not Fail". Anyone Can Answer a question on a test, But not comprehend or have an "understanding" of the answer. Relate this Thought to the members...They went though the efforts of 'Looking" up the answer...Posted it...Did not 'Flavor" the post with true understanding so others would Comprehend...And Boom...instant Flame ups...Readers attack the poster...poster attacks back because " I did the work".
I look at this Experiment Two Ways..Some are not going to want to end up here...So they will Change. Others who do end up here can vent the 'primal" side of them and not polute the disscussion or thread topic. They Recieve no points here.
Im Not clear however, on how a Mod " Decides". but perhaps it goes like this.....A caution is Issued by the Mod to "stop" or take it here Before Points are issued. If the Members Continues to Flame... The mod moves those posts here and points are issued. If the flaming continues here...Ok..this the place to do it...If it continues in the thread..more points and post are moved here. The thread "topic" started Here may have that member or both members 'Handle" in the title. Keeps them neatly organized. Eliminates "why did they say to go pink?" To Clearly outline the "which posts got points" A mod can Install the point value somewhere on the post.
Hold Harmess Clause:
...If a member states in their post...Lets takes this to the flame ward...and the other member on the attack does not...
How is this handled? Hostile topics like LP Almost need a Mod on duty 24/7....To catch it early enough for this experiment to have been fully conducted..

and the lurkers thread is closed because it is pointless. show me a good reason why it should be opened up, and its opened up. PM me on that one please
and marc, sean, mods... feel free to comment on this post, as my words are not law, only vision. like is said, we're trying stuff out....

Your logic puzzles me. The other threads/posts became pointless...Yet they were re-opened.
What is the point to move them here if they will re-main Closed? Kinda Taints this experiment...Falls out side the 'Spirit" of this honing technique your refering to.

Why is it so important for you to re-open that thread?? It was opened to lure other people into talking (a welcoming committee of some sorts..what ever it was, and had no business in the LP Threads...it was SO off topic). Actually it ended up as a flaming thread...isnt this what this is? No need for two of them.

Ummm...if you didnt already know that thread was merely for bashing me towards the end of it...I see no need for it since the two main people who were on the attack are no longer here since they were banned out of this forum
BUT thats just my personal opinion.

A suggestion...you might want to find out the story behind it before you go putting in your two cents.

No...Im sorry...I didnt mean to come off that harsh...but this thread was closed awhile ago because we didnt have a flamers thread, and this sat on the Laci Peterson thread for a long time...it wasnt even needed in that forum. How would you like it if someone came into the Jason/Freddy forum and opened a thread that had NOTHING to do with the topic and then reverted to speaking harshly about one member? I dont think you realize the stuff that these two were saying to other members, that is the reason for others sticking up for me..because they, too, were the victims of these two people.
See after these two left the LP thread has gotten to a point where it has calmed down...you can actually state your opinion without being personally attacked, for the most part. No one is longer called b*tches, or retards or childish names. Yes..I feel a little bitter about it, and I dont wish to have it reopened, for I dont see the purpose of it anymore.
The LP thread was out of hand for a long time...that is why we needed moderators in there, and Mike and [7] saw no need for that particular thread. I trust their judgment, for they have shown great judgment so far and they saw the implications of keeping that open and closed it.
Look whether they decide to open it back up is certainly up to them...but I like anyone else am pleading my case to keep it closed. If you wish to PM me...I can tell you more..for iIcan not say everything on this post that I would like to.
Again, I apologize if I came off harsh...maybe you wil give me a chance to explain myself further.

I don't. I have to admitt When i questioned why it was still closed i had no idea it was a trigger for mystic. I feel it should be open simply because the others are also. I really did not ask 'Because" of Mystic. But Mystic's aggressive behavor has now raised more questions. Does the policy in here 'Bend" in favor of Mystic and oppose the other members of the other threads? If so then why?
By not opening This back up because of Mystic's Demanding so, defeates The reason this Area was created. When Other posts are moved here, Someone will want the same "bending of policy" for them as Mystic Recieved.
Furthermore...I seriously believe Mystic is reading in to this Way more than she should. Unless of course She feels The forum should favor her over all others that may end up here. Yes she does spend 16 hours a day Average in here.

Not quite...and if I spend time on here its to get away from homework...which I have quite a bit...now that Im on vacation until August, I can do what I want...I dont need your permission Bit...and I believe the only reason you are mad at me is because I didnt back you in full to become a moderator....isnt that the case??? This is another reason why I get the big bucks.
Flaming is the very reason this "little" corner was created. Thus far...The posts that have been moved here are "Flaming" and "Off" topic as a result of 'Flaming".
There can be no 'Bias" reasons to 'Not" open the lurker thread. It will just generate 'Future" problems from those that end up here because it was NOT opened. There is already a pre-concieved notion that A couple 'Mods" are bias. So why have 'Concrete" evidence to support this? Again, As there is a need to repeate myself for the 'Deaf"...I asked this question only to 'Head" off the future problems as at first i thought it was an oversite. Instead I painted a target on myself for having a positive Initiative to contribute to 'In-review".
Theses threads contain 'Flaming". This is "ON topic" for this area and all should be open.
In case someone wants to know what I want....I want a smiley that 'Blows chow" and One that looks like a donkey and the head is turned looking back with a big grin and also i want to change my Avitar..

Im glad you did what you did on this thread. You have proven yourself to be inept as I always said you were. And again, I agree that you offer nothing to any thread. I have read your posts, and I agree that for the most part they are stupid, unintelligent, and downright ignorant to people. You tell people of your dating aspects, and what you do. I dont know whether to believe that you are just a lonely person looking for attention or if you just really think people believe anything that you say. I dont and you may not care, but leave the girls alone on that thread. They dont like you as much as you think they do, and they do not think you are cute and funny, because you are not, you are disgusting!
Again, I dont care whether that thread is opened or not, but if you really want to open it that badly, why dont you just open a lurker's thread a part two in this forum?

After reading the posts by Mystic in this thread, I agree with you on this, and I believe this was also what she was trying to get at. There really is no reason to post there. I agree with her that the reason he wanted it to be open was to start more arguments with people. I think he likes to do that. Read enough of his posts and you might understand what I mean.

Opening the lurker was never about mystic. It was conforming to the reason of the area. If you had quit barking Arsot you perhaps would have seen the others were opened and No one posted on those either.

How it ever got off track I don't know, and don't care really.
Wow I went on vacation and thought time away would do me good. It did. Showed me that reading abusive posts on message boards is a waste of time. No one takes compliments well, no one pays attention to what is actually being said, and most seem to use it as a stroke for themselves, not as a way t communicate and share ideas. (Oh and this is nothing new I have seen this in other forums so do not think ya'll are special or anything, people abuse one another in many many other places  )
How very sad that technology is bringing countries closer, and yet it pushes individuals into attacking one another.

Well, Gabby, I'm tempted to give you an award for your Chineese. By the way, for those who are clueless here, "詛咒, 性交, 可鄙" translates literally into "Curse (or curses), sex (sexual intercourse), despicable (or dishonorable)."
Maybe next month I'll create the "Curse Sex Despicable Award." But I'm going to agree with Helen that you'de have to get a bit more active to qualify for such a "bright" honor. (get it, bright=flames, I crack myself up) You actually have to get down and dirty and USE your creativeness in flames or anti-flames.
So, keep being creative and maybe you'll be an honoree on the next INFlames Awards!

And we should have mod awards... the hottest mod in INReview...what would that mean? A mod who gets the most replies to her/his posts maybe, or gets the most complaints?
But your post here was really funny - i lllike it a llllot - isn't it the best laugh when you crack yourself up .... and that is why I keep coming back here even after I decide to stay away even that cracks me up ... I just can't crack myself up anywere else on such a regular and predictable basis.
How about Despicable Sex Curse Award for those who are not kosher about sex... it is a curse sp that their sex lifes become despicable ... I think BIT could easily qualify for that with his sheep. the porblem is that you cannot have an advance notice of what the awards are or else the competions will require 1000s of mods to patrol inreview threads... or would that be good for business?

Why not? I think you are the best! I think inreview should have some awards for mods... everyplace where there is something going on has some public way to award participants... and I think mods should be awarded if they are not already... but not in the flamers ward... I'm anxiously waiting ...his tolerance level could be high... how long has he been running this?? But I just think I'm on his ignore list... I'm surprised he did not kick me out yesterday, I was pretty obnoxious, doing at least about 30 RPM (Rude Post per Minute) and I was going to leave for good but I started to have so much fun with  science that I can't just leave now, I'm having too much fun... ... but he may just come and zap my cpu yet if he is not fond of my new flavor of noxious posts

I tried to reply but I could not- I don't know why not?
But I agree with you about the mods... it was not fair of me to do it that way.... that was the first time I had the experience of having someone tell me to shut up and that temporarily distracted me from my common sense
I have absolutely no patience ... that's why I got so annoyed with marlene posting bananas in the science forum but now I see that it is really funny... a reason to stay maybe a while longer ... you may know me by now... I don't tolerate unfairness and stupidity only if it is funny or interesting... but if a stupid post is made just to annoy me I do get annoyed... but I think I'm getting more immune to that ....
Can you move a tread from one forum to another? I'd like to have the ASK HELEN moved from the science forum to the gen discussion... most people will never see it under sci/tech... at one place where I worked I did that via email and it was fun for all

I quit posting. Cold turkey. Permanently. I think I got kicked out - that helped me get off my chair. I only send email, look at CNN for breaking news (unfortunately that is what I was looking at on 9/11). I don't post or blog or even take photos. I just live as much as I can possible squeeze out of each minute. It is so great to have my life back. But I remember having more fun than humanely allowed while Scott Peterson was getting nailed for his evil deeds.
Mystic - is that still you? I hope all your plans worked out. I still would like to know how Scott got the body to the bay. every time I drive by his current "home" I end up thinking of inreview.
