| Posted by: Lawless | | Shakin... it was definately an easy read. But, re-reading it really allows you to look more in depth at things. At least that's what I've found. I get a much better understanding toward a story, and I can see if there's anything that I didn't notice the first time. | | Reply To this Message

JKR definately makes Harry seem so real. I think that's one of the things that I liked about the books. He is a real kid, with real struggles of everyday teenage life. Just because he found out that he's (in the words of Hagrid) a thumpin' good wizard, that didn't make his whole life so magical that every problem that he had before, or would have throughout life, just disappear. I have found not one book in this series to be boring. I love each page as I turn them to see what happens next. When Harry is around Cho, it reminds me of when I was a teenager, and all the angst that went with it. Oh man... good old days! I loved the sarcasm that Harry through at his uncle, in the very beginning, when they found him laying outside the window, "ease dropping" on the news. He cracks me up with those comments to them. And THAT is a typical teenager.

| Posted by: krazy_chan | | i also love the way harry thinks about catching dudley and his gang's attention when he was on the swing just to see what dudley would do... i kno that there have been times ive done sumthing similiar to my brother or sister just to try to embarrass them as much as possible, all his temper tantrums show that harry ISN'T just evading voldemort with ease, but its actually taking a toll on him and weighing him down.
harry argues alot more with ron and hermione and i kno that people always get into fights with their best friends.. i just love the way JKR is able to make his feelings and relationships with the people around him, also... they're getting more into the age of the dating and boyfriend/girlfriend relationships and harry and ron show more of the "how are we supposed to understand girls?" pointof view i just love that ^-^

I'm a girl, and when Harry said that, I had to agree. I don't even understand girls. And I'm 32 years old. So... what's that tell ya? I don't think that you can figure the female species out. We're all different, and we're constantly changing.
