| Sorry, I have to say it. The crying, the relationship problems, the poverty - yes, it's a reality TV show, but come on. Now they're jacking the Real World as well as AI?
I mean, at first it was fine. Debbie drove these kids to the brink, and they wanted to convey this through the emotional interviews. I understand this.
BUT - the producers are now trying to use these people. I don't really need to see the contestants crying on a weekly basis. Enjoy it for god's sake. I don't need to hear about someone's boyfriend or girlfriend hates that they're on this show - I don't care. I don't want to know that your car is about to be repossessed, or that you will have trouble finding a job when you're kicked off the show.
I'm not trying to be insensitive - this is not a shot at the contestants. This is on the producers, in my opinion. They are using these kids to try and bring in ratings, and I'm a little disgusted by it.
Be strong contestants - as usual, rely on yourself. Not FAME, not the producers. That's what they are doing. | |
