Anyone have copies of Fame for sale???

I was wondering if anyone taped the shows thus far. I'm wanting a copy of the episodes and am obviously willing to pay a fair price. I scoured NBC's site and it doesn't look like you can purchase it from them. Can anyone help out please?

If you don't have all of them, that's ok. Perhaps I can at least piece them together. THANK YOU THANK YOU!

I think it would be illegal for someone to sell their copies of the show...

But I'm hoping after the show is over NBC will offer the whole series for sale on DVD because I would definitely buy it!

I don't think NBC is going to have it out on dvd or anything. I also don't think it's illegal to get a copy of the show when you recorded it off the television. That's why they have vcrs. But again, if anyone has a copy (especially of the first couple episodes- I practically missed all of the first one!) I'd really appreciate it! *on knees begging!*

Well FOX released the entire seasons of AI and AI2 on DVD so I'm hoping NBC will do the same...

I don't think there's a problem for someone to give you a copy of something they taped or to trade with you (even though even that's kind of iffy) but it definitely breaks copyright laws for someone to *make money* by selling someone else's work.

True, you may have a point. Well, I do have a copywrite attorney in the family, I suppose I could ask him...

I could rephrase my request: would anyone be ever so kind enough to help out a fellow Fame fan and give me a copy of the first and second episode?? I'd really really appreciate it.

I missed a lot of the first and part of the second episode. It'd be great to see the whole thing in its entirety. Again, THANK YOU!

I'm not sure exactly what the law says on the issue, but I just wanted to place a warning here so that no one would unknowlingly incriminate themselves on a public message board

I'm upset because my VCR died shortly before Fame started so I haven't been able to record any of it Also I taped the entire season of AI2 already (6 tapes) and I have too many videotapes of stuff as it is... I would love to be able to get Fame on DVD though (takes up much less room that way, hehe)
