kazaa does't play movie

I have kazaa 2.1.1 and i've downloaded a couple of .avi movies but they won't play. it says the codec they need it divx and i have divx5. when i click on them they act like theyre playing but theres no sounds or picture. ive downloaded a few other files that require div4 and they play but these ones don't. any ideas?
