| Fame, in general, is the kiss of death to previous relationships. I mention this only because a couple of the contestants last night made sure they mentioned their boyfriends/fiances and how fame will affect their steady love. As the whirlwind sweeps them up and the tidal wave of attention crushes what they used to be, changes them forever, how can all else not change? Wishful thinking or perhaps naivete' is the only thing that can spur those kinds of remarks. Anyone needing to talk about it publicly at this point, has already lost it. If you are reading this board, you know what it is already that you really want. Smile, close your eyes and enjoy the ride, all else is out of your control. | |
