if you're a fan of HARLEMM LEE...

Harlemm caught my attention and admiration in auditions. I'm his number one fan! Okay, okay...so maybe we all are.

Harlemm Lee is absolutely the best! Hands down, no one came even close! Even my husband, who is the original music snob, was amazed by his voice (and what a voice!). He is as good as it gets, the only performer last night who was on during their entire performance (and has been since the beginning)!

I have a question for anyone who might know Harlemm. Does he have martial arts training? If so, what style? His moves are very martial arts-like.

I am on the Harlemm train too!!!! He renditions of Control and Get Here were just absolutely fabulous and who cares if the artist(s) were women, hey no one said anything when some of the AI2 male contestants started singing Toni Braxton..Harlemm what ever you choose to sing, you soar...you are da bomb!!!

Harlemm was my pick to win it from the first time I saw him audition. I just hope that being almost 36 is not going to turn off the younger voters.

I can't believe he thinks his dancing is weak. I think it is awesome and his voice is heavenly.

He got 10 from my house. 5 on two different cell phones. I actually misunderstood and thought we could vote 5 times for each person we liked so I started out voting 5 times for Raymond Lee. Then I found out I couldn't vote anymore from my landline. So I voted for Harlemm on my daughter's and my own cell phone.

I hear the judges talkin bout triple threat this and triple threat that...except in reference to OTHER finalists..what about Harlemm? That boy can act..he can bring any emotion to any song!!! did anyone bother to notice how much damn emotion Harlemm brings to every song and performance...always the right touch of sincerety and light-heartedness..Harlemm Lee will definetly go to the top of this competition...the caliber of his performances and his vocal abilities are unparalleled...when Harlemm sang he made me feel..he made me believe..and I truly believe that is what music is all about..when you can evoke emotion, harness passion like he does..then u have truly succeeded as an artist..best of luck to Harlemm..u deserve this...btw..you know that you are the leading contender when the next best in the competition(Serena) names you as her biggest competition!! being 36 only means that he is even more amazing considering!!!

I now have the BIGGEST CRUSH on Harlemm Lee.....he had BETTER win!....Besides, he's got the goods, to me....moves, looks, emotional conveyance, and a pair of pipes I have not encountered in years!! I want in on the action too, I just absolutely adore Harlemm, on the first night I saw Fame, he really stood out!! Now, i just watch the show for him... I actually jumped out of my seat and happily shouted.. "He's in! He's In!!"... last night... hey, we should get a fan website going and call it Planet Harlemm.. hehe, thanks to Carnie!! and i want to be a Harlemmnite or Harlemmian... or whatever we come up with.. hehe

I know, I was the same way when they called his name last night! You think I was watching a football game or something! And when they interview him after his performance, EVERY TIME, you can see it in his eyes how grateful and genuine he is; almost on the verge of tears.

I was pretty shocked at how poorly Harlemm did in the voting this last week. His "airplane" performance the week before was mind-blowing. Absolutely outta da park, baby.

I mean, I'm a grown man (hair and all) and I was brought to tears by his performance. And it wasn't just me. The judges were ON THEIR FEET after the performance. They'd never seen anything like it. To be (what was it?) sixth or seventh, behind some of those other people was shocking.

Serena had it right--her number one competitor IS Harlemm. Serena can sing well, but I wouldn't buy an album from her. There's nothing "special" about her voice, or style or anything. Harlemm, on the other hand, is from Planet Harlemm. Creativity just oozes outta his pores. He takes big-time risks every week. And his performances are amazing. Crystal-clear voice. Funky dancing. Personality in every lick of his singing. He's interesting to watch, and he makes you wonder what he'll do next to bring home the bacon. Harlemm isn't just doing things for "shock" purposes or to stand out because he's so short. :-) He's doing those things because THAT IS WHO HE IS.

I was encouraged by Clay Aiken's performance on AI2. The skinny "geek" becomes "cute" then "amazing." The fact that his single is number one also shows that America isn't as stupid as I once thought concerning music.

HOWEVER, why Harlemm did so poorly is beyond me. May be just too much for the average Joe.

I think they don't reveal who got the most or least votes, they just announce who made it to the next round randomly. I'm not sure though. It wouldn't make sense that Jamison and Raymond (who had sub-par peformances that week) got more votes than Harlemm.

Absolutely correct! They annouce them in random order. I am sure Harlemm was in the top two if not the number one vote getter.

sign me up! when I first saw him perform I thought he was different. but the more I watched him, the more I like him. he's a very unique individual.

Being 36 is what makes harlem so powerful. to be a true artist you have to have lived. only in this country do people believe that performing is reserved to young gymnic chickens...in spain flamenco dancers are considered treasures when they reach their fifties, and believe me if anyboddy knows flamenco here they'll know what i'm talking about, and if you don't, rent FLAMENCO from carlos saura. Anyway harlem reminds us of the incredible beauty of the power of a life well lived attached to perfect artistry. Harlem if you read this, you have to know of how much beauty you gave us. thank you so much. to me you are the winner. there are landmarks in amazement in life, you are one of them for me now.

I am another HUGE Clay Aiken fan and I just decided to watch Fame as AI was over for the season and I was blown away by Harlemm!! He is unbelievable! What a voice and a great dancer and a wonderful person!

Harlemm is awesome!!! I glad i found this site, cuz I didnt know if anybody liked Harlemm! I'm glad to know a lot of people do! I love Harlemm! He is so talented and is such a CUTEY! AHHHHH *swoons* Dude has anybody found pictures of him?

I really like Harlemm a lot. I was so amazed when I saw him on the show the first time because I have seen him many times at the Hollywood Farmers market on Sundays. It was the weird goggles that really gave it away. He was always wearing those.

A couple of weeks ago, I saw him at Gay Pride in LA. I asked him if he was Harlemm but he denied it. It was totally him though and my friend thought the same thing. He was even wearing those goggles. I didn't push it though. It's cool if he doesn't want to be hassled by people but I was a little surprised because I actually said I remembered him from the market and didn't even mention the show.

Anyway...I hope you win Harlemm because you really are the most talented and unique of the lot!

Harlem should sweep this competition, no contest. His voice is outstanding, with so many ranges and levels yet he still has such great control over it. I was extremely impressed the first time I heard him sing.

His moves are great too. When I see him dance, his face is lit up with joy and happiness. He looks like he's having so much fun up on stage, and that's the kind of attitude that drew me in.

Harlem, I'm praying for you! God bless you and keep you!

Planet Harlemm, baby!!! YEAH!!! I was extremely entertained when Carnie showed her "Planet Harlemm" t-shirt. I want one!!! Harlemm is definately a contender. He's in this 'til the end. He has to be. He's the most consistent, has the best control of his voice, and he just reaches out and touches you. He's amazing.

Harlemm is an amazing performer and the thing is...he's so down-to-earth that you'd never know he had that much talent pent up inside of him, and I"m so happy that he has a chance to finally show the world what he's made of! I wasn't even a fan of "FAME"..I thought it was just another hoopla talent show that seems to be invading our tv's at home.
However, I turned it on weeks and weeks ago and was struck by Harlem and his enormous emotionally moving performances.
Each and every week he brings it to the table consistantly. Their are other good performances each week.....but it seems as if we've heard it all before...but Harlem brings a uniqueness and new flavor to the music industry which is so desperately needed.

I look forward to watching him every week and am rooting for him 100% of the way.

My theory is, the ratings are not what the network wanted to see for this show. If we followed the elimination pattern we should loose 2 people a week until there are 3 left. That should take us to 4 weeks from now, not 2 weeks. But, I did not make the rules and my theory is just that, a theory.

ok ok here it goes harlemm lee has made me feel like a kid again. back to the days when you can't wait for the next teen magizine to come out loaded with pics of your favorite artists. i have not cared a lick about that in years... but when i saw harleem perform on the first fame i was hooked. maybe it is the fact that he is an asian hottie that can move to the soul of the music with this almost martial arts swiftness, that shoalin style hair cut, that innocense at 36 he still has or just the voice that delievers the music straight to your heart. whatever it is it doesn't matter, harlemm lee is already a star in my heart. i just hope he makes it, if he doesn't i will no longer have faith in the american public when it comes to picking out real talent. i mean it is sooooo blatantly obvious who is the best. and it is about time america had an asian american vocal star. if in doubt just listen to the judges who have been in the biz for years he IS the best.
