I don't care what anyone says, Justin Jacoby's performance was tight. He didn't sing, oh well, he came and did what he does best and i think it was fine. Serena's voice is awesome, and Brandon's dance moves were tight. Serena will win it, but i think Brandon and Justin will get signed on with someone else just for their talent and that Jamisen girl is BEAUTIFUL!

Question - does Justin just lip sync during the group performances? I see his mouth moving, but he hasn't attempted to sing in the solo portions as of yet...

Just wonderin'.

comparing justin jacoby to eminem is ridiculous. eminem is supremely talented. justin jacoby is, well there are legions of rappers who don't sell bery many records who are much better, and there are hordes of guys that don't think of trying to be signed who are better rappers than justin jacoby.

i shut my mouth during ai2 when country fans debated the country talent of josh and carmen, but ive got to speak on this novelty act who weakens the cometition.

sorry guys shoudn't even post anything, I hate rap. Actually that's not true I liked Mc hammer because he could dance, but justin, I am sorry, how do you call a rapper that cannot rap on the beat??????

Reply To this Message

I think that Justin has a lot against him, being the only rapper on the show.
I for one love his originality in that he has written everything he has performed. In the production numbers I don't think that he gets much to work with because his voice isn't very flexible (from what I've seen). ~MelBel

Justin Joke-oby????

When you are on national television, and you are trying to show off your rap skills, ENUNCIATE, don't mumble the last four words of your rhyme with the mic at your hips....

Triple threat? This kid is a joke!!!!!!!!

Compared to Vanilla Ice? Ill was a one record wonder and this jack-off-oby could only at his prime WISH to rock the mic like Ill ever did on his worst day.

This kid looks like an angus beef steak to any battle rapper in the underground industry, if he goes ANY farther than he has now, fact is that the american public voting on this competition is below the age of 12. This no talent ass clown needs to go back to his trailor in the burbs, and call me so I can <admin censored>.

You got no talent kid, give it up, YOUR A JOKE!!!!!!!!!

Bring your wack ass skills to the D and get DEVOURED by some REAL talent.

Fake ass beeyatch, dream about that boy!!!!!!!!!

Didn't they already make a movie about Justin Jacoby??? Oh yeah, they did....... its call Malibu's Most Wanted!!

hahahhaahahahahaha..... seriously people, this kid is a joke. Put him on 106 and park freestyle battles, and that kid would be crying.

He is a disgrace to rap and hip-hop. You 10 year olds that compare him to Eminem is like comparing a paper airplane to a Stealth Fighter plane.

And what pisses me off the most is his "POSSE" cheering him on, don't they know he suck?? Even as friends..... if my friend rapped like him and wanted to go on national t.v, I'd tell him the truth and that he sucks

First of all, Justin is not a "child." Get your definition straight. And don't call someone a ten year-old when you don't know how old they are. You know what assuming does? Assume spread out is a** u me. Well, I am not the one who is the a**...it's just the "u" part. You are the one who is acting like a child...not the "ten year-olds" comparing Justin to Em. Oh gee...why am I even bothering? At least a child can have common sense...so what does that make you?

Reply To this Message

Posted by: blue_bimma

i'm referring to the reason why justin jacoby is even in this competition is because of these young girls that know nothing about rap and thinking he is all that. And you say a child has common sense? obviously not, cause if they did, they would know he sucks

Reply To this Message

Posted by: FilipinaPryde

I didn't even understand that flame. I think the message got lost in the many asteriks, "u"s, and dots.

This is online, so you are judged by how you write. If you write like a pre-teen, then you're going to be respected as such.

I'll make this simple since it's getting late.

Justin: No
Harlem: Heck yeah!

Reply To this Message

Posted by: blue_bimma

nothing against you girls/guys that support him. But seriously, he is just terrible, and I don't understand all the support of him being so talented and so good. For those that listen to real rap/hip-hop knows this. I'm sure he is a good kid and all, but he does not deserve these praises for talent he doesn't have.

If you seen Malibu's Most Wanted, you know what I mean, and if you haven't, make sure to watch it, because that kid is just like Justin.

btw: I voted 4 times for harlemm!

And I only put ASTERISKS because I do not really care to get kicked out of the postboard and I don't swear anyway. If that bothers you, then I am sorry. Also, your spelling judges your education level, so I guess that means you are at a lower level.

For you Justin Jacoby fans: Here is my professional look on him: Justin raps off rhythm and beat and needs to clean up his rap if he wants to MC in the industry. He does have original music which is a plus, but all the songs he has done so far all sound exactly the same. They are revolve around himself, how great he is and no one can beat him, and has some "throw you hands up in the air" flare. The market cannot stomach him at this time. In addition, he needs to tightened up his choreography. Watch closely as he is off in all the numbers.

Bottom Line: He is not a triple threat.

P.S. Tyce Diorio is going to kick him out of the competetion.

Ok, what did I mis-spell? Obviously, if you judge someone about their education by how they type in a forum then good for you. You must be at a higher education level then me. Although I completed my BS in Computer Science at Washington State U. and I am currently a graduate student at the University of Washington getting my masters.

The guy sucks and has no business competing against REAL performers. Cute? Who the hell cares if he's cute. That's not what this contest is supposed to be about. VOTE ONCE AND ONCE ONLY, quit voting over and over again.....just cause he's CUTE. He doesnt have 10% of the talent of the other competitors and he doesnt belong.

JJ is an awesome person. He is a talented performer, he wouldnt be there if he wasnt. No, he doesnt "sing". he does something else, is own thing. something he does very well. everybody should love jj, as well as everyone on the show for doing their thing and providing entertainment for us. dont knock anyone down just because you compare them for people such as eminem, he (for example) has been doing this for years upon years, with all the help they recieved, anybody can kick ass.

I have to admit one thing about Justin, his performance last night was the best one he's had. You can take that anyway you want to. I have to admit he actually stayed on the beat for the most part. However, my main problem w/him is that his rap doesn't really flow. Its all mainly just a bunch of catchy phrases thrown together (i.e. the tony the tiger lyric, the busta rhymes and "woohaaaa" lyric, and the reference to muhammed ali w/"move like a butterfly and sting like a bee"). I give the kid some credit, he can write some rhymes. Is it good enough to make it in the real music industry. I would think not. I'd stop all this debate about Justin Jacoby, b/c to be really blunt, I don't think he'll be on the show much longer.

Reply To this Message

All of his 'raps' so far have sounded exactly the same. There is nothing original about this guy, there are millions of Eminem wannabes.

Reply To this Message

Obviously if Justin made it to the show there was something that people behind the scenes saw or else he wouldn't have been on the show in the first place.

I realize that Justin is not a professional but they aren't supposed to be professionals. For an ameateur (sp?) I feel that he is doing a good job.

I am sure there are girls that are voting for him because of his looks, but there are people who are voting for him because they see something in him. I see potential in him and I also enjoy his originality by doing his own thing every week instead of singing to other people's songs.

This will probably be the only other post I right on this board, because I don't agree with the way people are bagging on him because they don't think he is good or whatever. He is a human being with feelings and I for one really hope that he never reads this board or at least all the put downs that are here.

I hope that little wanksta DOES read this forum, then maybe he will get a clue. He can't flow, he doesn't enunciate all of his lyrics, hell, most aren't even into the mic, he doesn't "look" the part of a rapper, his lyrics don't "Say" anything positve, comical, harsh or anything, they are just blah....

The kid obviously has no stamina b/c he's up there weezing on stage talking about how nobody can out flow him. Give me a friggin break, this kid would do better rappin someone else's lyrics b/c his suck...

The thing I am waiting for is for this kid to go like one more round and get KO'd by Harlem, Alex or the "Spoiler", then we'll see how "Cute" he is when he realizes that his "Fame" was built up by 12 year old girls who gave him a false sense of security...

Yooz just an act ta'..... Now move b*tch, get out the way!!!!

I read this statement 20 minutes ago and just now stopped laughing enough to type.

Marshal would not even give that kid the time of day for a autograph much less a shot at 10 seconds of REAL fame. We'd have a better chance of seeing Ol' Elton perform with Em then JJ..

Almost as talented when? Maybe when Em was 7yrs old..

Yes, he is human but sorry to break it to you sweetie this is part of the biz...and if this is bothering you then wait til you see what they do to the winner (no matter who it is). in response to mocha: i don't think that part of the biz is to ridicule someone who is trying to persue their dream. There is a difference between constructive critizism and being downright cruel and a lot of what I see on this board is not critizism but cruelty in my opinion.

Cruelty is medicine to some people. When somebody has no talent and is deliberately killing a genre that deserve respect (i.e : rap), because it so happpens that all the pneumology departments of the nation have their TV on, and all the bluepuffers vote for him because they think he is one of them....gosh you know the kid has lung capacity of a CRICKET!!!!!!!!!

Sigh..oh Mel, I love your idealistic attitude it's so refreshing! I suppose in a perfect world all responses would be construtive and helpful, but in reality a huge part of fame is invasion of privacy, limited independence...and yes critizism/ridicule. If you don't believe me head down to your nearest corner store and pick up a magazine, ANY magazine and you'll see every 'star' being picked apart from their choice of mate to nail colour. It may be unfortunate but it is 'part of the biz'. If he or any of them want to make it big (pause..laughing at the idea of Justin making it big) they're going to have to grow thicker skin

You are right, it is not fair to say that only 12 year old girls are voting for him. I am sure thare are some 11 year olds, and even a few 13 year olds voting for him too, as well as a few deaf, horny old grandmas.

I'm sorry but THAT'S WHERE IT SHOULD STOP!!! A boy with a dream? C'mon, this bazooka joe rap style is just flat out WRONG!!!! When are you going to wake up and see that?

Look kid, one day, your going to wake up, think about what you have said, and agree that I am not trying to bag on you personally, your idea of what this kid is or isn't, but that the wrong guy got chosen for the job. Plain and simple. Why don't you see that? If you would take the time and read the hundreds of post where people like me are "Telling it like it is", you would see that we are right.

This is what I want you to do, go out on to the web, dl the JJ video's somewhere, watch them over and over and over again until you SEE what we are talking about.

When you do, you'll see we are being objective, not "Mean"...

Until then, we'll all be waiting for an apology!!!!!

As far as I'm concerned, at LEAST we're giving reasons to back up our opinions. All I'm getting from you Justin fans are:

"OMG! HE RAWKS! OMG! HE'S SO COOL AND FUN AND COOL! AND HE RAPS! WHICH IS COOL!"

Come on now, that's not really fair. Why should his fans be able to spell when Justin, himself, can't speak english?

I think they kept Justin because they know he won't win. That will boost the odds of winning in favor of the ones the producers (and industry) REALLY want to win. Why put all triple threat performers in a competition if you really want just one or two to win? You don't... you put in the Justins and Alexes of the world to ensure someone else wins.

For one thing, his style of "music" doesn't even represent what Fame's style is. It's more of a jazzy, flashy type dance and singing with a modern twist. I remember the old tv series.

I don't consider rap to be music but rather a poetic form of words spoken to the continuous repeating rythym, much like a broken record stuck on the worst part of a song. The lyrics usually seem like either disfunctional angry people expressing their anger, hatred, racism, and other problems, or they boast about themselves being the best (Justin's style).

As for his dancing, he does a little footwork in the beginning, then stops dead and enters his "rap" mode, where the dancing to the rap doesn't even flow together.

I honestly have to leave the room when Justin comes on the stage. As many have said, nothing he does flows.
