How is she a phony??? She writes her own songs which sound good & I respect her. She's so much better then Christina & Britney put 2gether! The trend thing....that's just the way she dresses, she doesn't go tell everyone "oh dress like me" she's bein herself and that's the way ppl should be; I certainly don't think Britney & Christina are bein themselves they sing about $hit & dance around like whores, so they're the phony ppl!

PS. christina co wrote all except 2 out of 20 on her album. as she quoted herself, she usually wheres boxers and a tank top. the whole image is like playin a role and she likes to stur rumors and stuff like this board. oh yea, u haveta actually have talent to be better than others.

u guys dunno the real avril n christina...i remembered in one mag they say that avril only likes fans of hers wearing the type of clothes she's wearing...obviously she's trying 2 encourage ppl 2 dress like her!!!!!!...in christina's case, she doesn't really care about wat ppl wears...so wat if u think she's a slut, it's the inside that counts. she's so talented n pretty n her voice is sooooooo much better than avril. christina's voice is smooth n avril's rough so hu's better now? if u dun belief me try listening 2 their songs,i bet u know wat i was saying then...CHRISTINA ROX!!!!!!

Avril Lavigne, although a good artist, is not the most talented singer OR writer. Christina Aguilera has an AMAZING voice. She conceives the ideas for the songs and makes them her own. Just because Avril writes SOME of her own stuff and Christina is a better singer and Avril dresses like a "punk" and Christina dresses in very revealing clothes does NOT make either one better than the other. All artists are artists in their own way and we have to respect what they do even if we don't agree with it.

Avril Lavigne does Not write most of her songs. She co-writes them, which means she has the help of a professional.

Just like 99.9% of people who sing.
