well, if they had ASKED... i know most filipinos wouldn't have minded if joey garbled jami's last name a lot less than he did tonight.

(but that's assuming jamisen herself - or her family, which i seriously doubt - doesn't pronounce it that way anyway cause it's easier than going through the trouble - or wanting to cause any embarrassment to anyone [thanks to filipino courtesy, of course]- by correcting someone.)

It looks like they're really pushing the sexy image for some of the girls-- look at "Hot Stuff" last week and now this one with "Black Velvet" and "Making Me High"... Whew!!!

that is soooo funny....but i do think the panty flash was accidental....I love the sexy image as a woman i think we should all embrace this power we have as women of the century...i found her performance to be great...

makes ya think that Carnie doesn't hide her lust for girls... hmmm... remember her comment on Shannon last week about how HOT her body was? [mind you i don't know whether Carnie prefers girls or guys... just noting that she's not hiding those candid comments, when seriously, it has little bearing on a person's talent]

truthfully tho, i absolutely adored her when she was her previous size - she made BBW's sexy. nowadays, she seems to be tryiing too hard to be an attention-grabber.

can someone please explain to me the difference between michelle livignes song black velvet and jamison's song. i thought jamison was just as "sexual" as michelle's was.

There was no difference, IMO, except maybe Jamie's skirt was a little shorter... And Michelle was clearly the better dancer though a weaker vocalist. Both of them totally exuded ATTITUDE (in a good way!) I really loved their confidence!

if ever there was a triple threat ....respecting rebeca's extremely accurate definition of what a true "triple threat" really means...you all should do your home work on Michelle Livigne... she has danced for many years and is not a "professional dancer" but should be and probobly will be some day....."Fame" you let one of the truly "bold" triple threats get away

michelle said shes a dance instructor so i guess that qualifies her as "professional". she was very good, in fact i was rooting for her in the auditions. but, as ive said earlier, since she spends the best part of her time doing a lot of dancing, shes trading off some of her vocal workout. and since part of the winner's bounty is a record deal, i feel that johnny wright knows what he's looking for in a recording artist (although im not really sure what the other 2 are looking for). its just too bad for michelle's fans. but, hey, she has showcased her great talents to the public eye, it will take her far, whether she wins or loses in a reality show -- and that goes to the other finalists too!

I liked michelle too, but the song was just all wrong. She should not have performed a song like that because just as she said on the tape, she didn't really understand it. It was kinda uncomfortable to me to watch that performance, although i could tell she had a wonderful voice and great dancing. I think her song selection was wrong and it took away from her pure raw talent. Part of being a star is being yourself and really showcasing yourself in the best light possible. I don't think that was the best way for her to show her talent. that is just my opinion, but the girl was adorable and what an amazing body!

when jojo wright said to michelle: "i see u as a nextdoor kinda girl" that was just short of telling her that the provocative song didnt personify her otherwise wholesome qualities. although she did great, the song wasnt really her. but u know what, on the one side, she should have been given credit for the 3rd threat: acting. oh well.

That's the thing that I really didn't see... to me Michelle did look comfortable with the song, and I don't understand why the judges kept saying otherwise... maybe I need to go back and watch it again...

Michelle did say she spends a lot of time "teaching" dance and practicing but it doesn't necessarily mean she makes money off of it, so it's possible to still teach and not be a "pro".

But she is an awesome dancer and if that's what she likes to do she shoul dpursue it because she could be a world champion dancer
