I re-watched the show the other night with a friend of mine who wanted to see it, and kept an eye on who I thought the contenders would be this time.

Of course I was wrong about Judy (damn!), but IMO, Lauren Hildebrandt, Dion Watson, Alexis Alder, and Serena Henry could do some damage. But who struck me most was Michelle Livigne.

Very confident dance moves, and the camera loved her! I don't just mean figuratively that she's attractive (although she is), but literally - they focused on her many, many times during the group dance number.

I'm curious about her voice, but if her dancing is any indication, she's my favorite in the clubhouse!

Michelle was awesome! Definitely one of the best dancers! I'm sad that she didn't make it tonight... I would have actually put her in the top 3 tonight... I think the three ladies were the best tonight... I'm not too sure about her vocals but her confidence & stage presence were incredible! And the way that she moved her body in her dancing was what impressed me the most!

I think those conservative judges couldn't take that much sexuality coming off a 16 year old high school kid. This is NBC, after all, not Fox. Best to you, Michelle. You've got a future!

I think Michelle got cut because she danced like a stripper. Not appropriate, and not particularly difficult to do. All she needed was a pole...

A little provocative, yes. OK, sexy as hell. But so what? I mean, she was the only one who took a chance last night, while the others played it safe. Obviously Debbie didn't have a problem with it.

I'm sure they're trying to keep their 2:1 ratio of females to males or males to females, but the 3 females deserved to move on last night, plain and simple.

You could (and the judges did) use all of the AI cliches for Brandon's performance - pitch problems, flat. OK, no one used "dreadful", but perhaps they should have.

Yes she danced sexy, maybe too sexy, but hers and Ryan's dance _technique_ was the best out of the 6. Which isn't a surprise being that she said she teaches dance, and he had been dancing since he was like 6 years old or something?

I agree I thought Brandon's voice sounded very off... Seemed kind of flat to me... I was shocked that the judges raved over him like they did???

And I agree, it seems that Debbie, or the producres or SOMEONE there is really pushing the sex angle there as far as costumes and choregraphy...

I saw the agility and creativity in michele and ryan's dance moves and they are amazing dancers. but, based on their video bio, these two artists have dedicated the best part of their time in perfecting their dance skills becoz since do it professionally and somehow fell back a bit on their vocal workout. what i saw, especially in ryan's performance last night, was a lack in vocal impact. he performed well, but he wasnt able to deliver the goods with the way the song came out in his performance last night. to ryan's fans, let me clarify that my view is only for his performance last night, and not his inherent ability as a person.

I personally think the 3 females were the best last week. i think michelle livigne was so much better than brandon was. and her body! she was perfect! i personally think the judges need glasses bc they must be blind. i think michelle is amazing and u can definatly tell she has been dancing for a long time.

xoxocheer: i heard she does it professionally like she's a dane instructor somewhere. both ryan and michelle's dance tech were thought of as professional level while brandon's is said to be natural. what do you think? from where i'm watching, its all good.

candy - as i mentioned on another thread - Brandon is technically trained as well! He has been involved in dance classes since he was 8 years old! He is very serious about his dance training taking advanced ballet classes everyday!!! He also takes jazz, tap, & hip hop!!! Yes he has natural talent but he not a street dancer!& u should see him in his tights!!!

I just looked on a website out of curosity and yes, MICHELLE WAS DANCER OF THE YEAR for the state of florida. that sure isn't a surprise to me. she will definatly go somewhere in her future. this show will be missing something without her there.
