Tyson Says He Now 'Really' Wants To Rape Woman

Mike Tyson said he's so angry about his rape conviction 11 years ago that he wants to rape his accuser and her mother now.

In a television interview for Fox's "The Pulse" scheduled for broadcast Thursday at 9 p.m. on KTVU Channel 2, the former heavyweight boxing champion repeated his claim that he was innocent of raping beauty pageant contestant Desiree Washington in 1991 in an Indianapolis hotel room.

"I just hate her guts," he said. "... She put me in that state, where I don't know. I really wish I did now. But now I really do want to rape her and her ... mama."


Tyson, 36, was convicted in 1992 and was sentenced to six years in prison. He served three years before being released on parole.

He made the comments during an interview in Miami Beach, Fla., with Fox news anchor Greta Van Susteren, who was reviewing the trial.

A call for comment to Tyson's adviser, Shelly Finkel, was not immediately returned.

The interview will be shown on "The Pulse" at 9 p.m. on the Fox network.

Neither Washington nor her parents returned calls seeking comment, the Daily News said.

This man should not be making millions for beating people up. He's nothing more than a thug. There are repectable boxers out there who don't maintain a laundry list of criminal history or verbal confrontation. Oscar De La Hoya, George Forman, Muhammed Ali, Immanuel Lewis... Why do we as a society continue to support this man's career as a boxer???

He's such a sick piece of excuse for mankind. He really needs to be institutionalized. He needs some serious therapy, medications, and counseling. He is not a fit person to live within society. He really makes me sick.

Hehe this dude is exactly the guy the media needs. I mean really, if we didn't have people like this in society what would we watch for news? When I watch the news or cover stories I want to see crazy stuff, people with their heads on fire running around while someone with a flamethrower is lighting up the store. I want to see cars blowing up and people tripping over each other as they are running to get away. Stocks, economy, appointed leaders, these things don't concern me, I want news, I want Mike Tyson saying something outrageous, I want him gnawing boxer's ears off and tattooing stupid crap on his already ugly face.

I say next we put Mike Tyson on a reality show such as Temptation Island or Survivor and have a camera pointed at him just waiting for him to flip out and kill someone.

Keep your eyes and ears out for it kids, it's going to happen! (er, second thought keep your ears covered...)

Tyson is crazy. I think hes been hit in the head one to many times. I think a lot of the stuff he says is for publicity. That and he's crazy. And does anyone remember what he said before his fight with Lewis. Something about he wanted to eat hes kids or something. Then after the fight he was hugging him talking about how much he cared about him. Dude is seriously mental.

I think Tyson is uneducated, hyperactive, and emotionally unstable.

But I read about Tyson. He grew up on the streets. You think that's an excuse? It's not. But that's the life he knows. He fought a lot, eventually a trainer found him, took him under his wing, showed him the love a father figure never did. This guy trained Tyson to fight. Tyson won the Belt a minute at the youngest age ever. Too early. Then his "father" figure died. Next person to swoop him up: Don King. Then I did some reading on Don King. This guy is a hustler. All he cares about is money, and putting on a show.

Wouldn't that life mess you up in the head to? I don't like or trust mr Tyson, but I believe he didn't rape that girl. I also think it's sick how some people exploit his words and his personality. Did it make you feel good to be picked on? Imagine millions of people making fun of you, not just a few. Imagine seeing yourself being mocked on national television. If he wasn't screwed up already I'm sure that would do the job.

he probably isn't very well educated , but he was one of the best boxers of his time. youngest heavy weight champion in 20 years.
He should be mad of being acccused of rape. i'm sure he didn't just wait for her in a dark ally she did something to put herself in a situation. he may have done something to upset her and she might of wanted some money.

I totally disagree with you vanillacaramelx. You say I'm sure he didn't wait for her in a dark alley, she did something to put herself in that situation. I'm not 100% sure on what the whole story behind this is but no means no. If you leave your car inlocked does that give someone the right to just hotwire it and drive it off? If you leave your house unlocked should people be able to just come in and take your belongings? No. I don't know if they had sex and now so wants to say he raped her or if he raped her or what. The point is no matter who does it rape is wrong. It's the only crime where the victum is blamed, yet its one of the worst that can be commited. True this case has gotten more publicity than the average rape cases because people are obsessed with what goes on in the lives of the famous. The point at hand is that he says he wants to rape her and her mother. I'm sure these are just words said out of anger for being acused of something and serving time for something that wasn't true, he missed out on part of his life. But threatening to rape someone is wrong, no matter who says it. I can understand his anger and frustration but that doesn't excuse the comment.

I agree that Tyson was a great boxer. I didn't say other wise. I even said that I don't know what happened, noone here really knows. I didn't say that he raped her. I'm just saying it's wrong to say that you want to rape someone and their mother. That's the comment that this thread is suppose to be talking about. True it would be hard for anyone to heal with false accusations, especially when they are public, but that doesn't make it right that he said what he said. Oh ok I see. Well, this is a thread on the remark he made about raping the girl and her mom, not a lets all bash Tyson thread. But this is a public forum and people are intitled to give there opinion weather we agree with them or not. I'm not saying you were saying thay couldn't, just making a statement. Now his mental problems or education doesn't distract from the fact that he is a great boxer. And true he's been through a lot in his life that has made him the way he is, but you have to admit that here recently it appears that he does things just for the publicity.
