wow. all i can say is that did some of them get dressed with the lights off?
okay, that girl in the orange shirt (makenzie?) well her shirt was cute, but i didn't like the butterfly too much. and her pink skirt was cute too...and so were her boots.
but none of them looked good TOGETHER!!!
Shannon - CUTE OUTFIT! i loved it. but i bet her boots were a little uncomfortable...well i thought they would be
Judy - she looked like a dolphins cheerleader. That skirt just didn't work.
Alex - Okay he just has that look to him saying "I know you want me". Your heart just melts from the moment you see him. I loved his jacket. WOW
Gary - WOW! Another great guy! his clothes were great! props to him too. i loved his voice! even though his little head was a little overdone, he still just made you melt!
and i can't remember the other guys name right now but wow. i just think he sucked. I didn't like his clothes at all. and he just seemed like some....i do'nt know i just didn't like his personality or his style of performance either..

excuse me but i must say.....who do u think you are Simon from AI or something.....saying people sucked is completely wrong....these people regardless of your opinion are awsome whether they got voted off or not!!!!! and his name is danny alvarez ok!!!!! and his clothes were picked out for him and yes he did look amazing contrary to your beliefs...and what do u expect him to do with the performance!!! You want him to do something that was completely out of proportion...which would have looked worse...and you would have bashed him out anyways...He is a great singer with a hell of a personality...and a great deal of charisma. And he really added a little flare of salsa in this performance that added a great deal of who he is. I did not see anyone else doing that!! So think a little bit more when saying horrid things about people because you never know who is reading your comments.

Since you have so much to say about how everyone looks and you are so open with your opinion i am sure that you look like you just steped out of GQ right?? Everyone on that show looked unbelieveable from head to toe and they did great, the best that they could do. I mean who the hell are you to say what "works" and what "sucks." Like shannons boots "they were a little uncomforable". Now miss shely belly(or whatever your name is i can't remember right now) how in the world do you know they were uncomfortable? Did you test walk them or something for her? I mean come on... Oh and as far as "I cant remember the other guys name...it's Danny Alvarez...now you have it as a mental note...KEEP IT!! CAUSE FAME IS NOT THE LAST TIME YOU WILL SEE OR HERE IT, and you can take that to the bank!! And he (Danny Alvarez) he did wonderful adding a touch of culture to a great classic song and he looked HOT!! from the top of his open shirt to the bottom of his brand new shoes... and as far as personality he has LOTS,more than most peole know how to handle. So yeah take a note from the last person who wrote you (Lepoardari) be careful what you say cause you never know who's reading it. I think that they all did great. CONGRATS TO ALL OF FAME!!!!

Wow, you people are harsh! Isnt this a place for people to post their opinions?! I agreed with ShelBell (which is tooooo close to my own screen name) on alot of what she had to say. She did say Shannons boots LOOKED uncomfortable. Go back and read her paragraph. She seemed pretty positive on most accounts! Danny was not all that either. I am sure he is a great guy personally but he is not what this show is calling for. So if you guys know Danny personally dont take it to heart - it is not an attack on him as a person - but as a performer that is supposed to knock our socks off - and he didnt! Alex was adorable but again he is not the dancer that this show is looking for. He was great on his song last week but it will be interesting to see what else he does. Shannon is very good at performing but before her dance number I had her picked to be eliminated. Her voice is not strong enough. She is a great performer though so that changed my mind. Remember - it has to be the whole package - that is what they are looking for. Can't wait to see what everyone has to say about this weeks contestants! Be trueful but be NICE!

Now honestly, sheelibelle whatever.... ok granted she did say the shoes looked uncomfortable but her eyes sutomatically sensored the fact that they were uncomfortable ohhhh ok.... if anyone has something to say it is shannon herself and they were a low heel so how in the world do they seem uncomfortable to the naked eye..... Plllleeeeezzzzzzzzzz...........And to say that Danny's performance was not all that.... ummm apparently your deaf and did not seem to hear the money money money song where he blew aeay the rest of the people there. He didnt suck & he is talented (more than the average Joe) but again not the whole FAME package! Wow the people from Miami need to chill a little. This is a forum and in case you did know this is exactly the proper place to voice an opinion. My god you people act like you are related to Mr. Alvarez. I personally thought that his performance during the "rap" intro was really good but I didn't think he was as good in the solo song even with the Latin flavor. He is just a Ricki wannabe. Yes to all you are very right this is a place to post your opinion and that is what everyone is doing, no matter if it is harsh or not. Also yes i do talk as if i am related to him because as i speak i am and on Danny's behalf he doesn't't't take any of this negativity to heart he just uses it as constructive criticism from people with there own opinions. Danny uses this to learn and grow as the wonderful artist that he is, because everything can be perfected even if it just a little. However as a "DANNY FAN" we all take it personal for him. Hey we wouldn't be good fans & friends if we didn't! LoL....I'm not trying to make enemies on Dannys behalf but when i feel a certain way it comes out in my writings as you can see.

Yay! Go Shelmibelle! I share most of your posted thoughts. Its so FUNNY how guys argue why girls can tell if a pair of shoes can be uncomfortable or not by just looking at it! Leopardari says "it had a low heel so how in the world would it seem to be uncomfortable to the naked eye". Girls, all together now- - - -WE KNOW BECAUSE WE ARE GIRLS! I wear low heels on dates and I feel like kicking off my shoes halfway through the night. Just imagine dancing around on stage in those killer pointy boots! Gentlemen, trust us ladies on this. I honestly feel that the girls who are in this message board have tried on all the different styles of shoes including the the killer pointy boots from the land of Oz so we know what's uncomfortable and what is not. Choosing to be in the public eye has a price. It attracts critics and fans alike. Becoming a "public property" becomes part of a celebrity's life unless they take great measures to guard their private life. Their public appearances are scrutinized to the minute detail. What you read in the message boards are proof that the tv show got our attention, or better yet, our interest. If the public is interested, the show will be watched. As long as there is something interesting to talk about, the message boards will be bursting at the seams with posts. So, like what jamie kennedy says, Dont be Hatin'. Enjoy the show, and the many different posts you will read after that. If everybody agrees with everybody (which is so impossible), that's no fun at all!

To Dannys1fan: I have to absoloutely love your dedication to and support of your brother. Though, by my own admission, I am not one of Danny's hugest fans and am in agreement with the decision handed down by the judges, I must say that Danny has incredible, irrefutable talent and will go far. At the taping of tonight's show I saw him dancing during a commercial break. He was incredible. By far, the best salsa dancer I've ever seen. I firmly believe that he is the "Salsa King" as Allyson so sweetly stated and he will go far in his career. With that said, take care. My regards to Danny.

my dear girl dannys1fan, if i were in ur place i would be mad crazy about my brother being on the show! i adore my brothers a lot and they're not even on any tv show! but girlfriend to girlfriend, issuing statements like: "i'll see you guys in the future buying some concert ticket to see my brother perform" not only creates quite a daunting challenge for your brother but might also attract possible attacks from non-supporters, and thus defeating the importance of your essay of sincere, if not, fierce admiration for danny. your brother is a gifted artist, and although i have different preferences, i admire posts that encourage objective thinking despite the difference in opinions. so, dannys1fan, i wish your brother's career will take off from here and may he will be able to walk your talk in the end.

I don't mean to burst anyone's bubble by my comments but I am a realist. Every single person that tried out for Fame and other shows like it have the same hopes and desires as you and your brother. Even the ones that clearly were awful had family that couldn't believe they were not selected. I feel that optimism is fine but people need to be realistic and understand that not everyone is going to like Danny like you do. My comments are not directed at Danny the person but at Danny the performer, the one we saw on TV. You have to remember that the public never really gets to know famous people. We may develop an idea about them but in the land of entertainment we are only allowed to see a very small part and that is all the viewing audience has to base thier opinions on. Sorry, maybe if I could have seen more of Danny I would change my mind but for now those are the breaks kid.

Personally I liked Danny's performance... the guy definitely has talent, and I like his enthusiasm... he's a goodlooking guy too, which helps him...

But out of the 6 for that night I didn't see how he could make the top 3... he had some stiff competition... but just making it that far says a lot for him... he should definitely continue to enjoy developing his talent and see where it takes him!

I think what killed him more than anything was the song choice... it's hard to do Stevie... also a weird arrangement to the song and dance choreography... that sudden salsa break in the middle just seemed kind of crammed in there and didn't sound like it belonged in the song! He probably should have done a song which was completely salsa, because he dances salsa very well...

Also I think he just needs to work on projecting his voice & his personality a little more, and he can do that as he develops his confidence... the fact that he was nervous didn't help him last week either...

But he seems to have a good future ahead of him

I would like to just say something to every single person who may have a positive or negative opinion about Danny Alvarez, from Miami. I have had the honor of watching Danny grow from a boy to a Man. Not only is he extremely talented in singing & dancing, he has a heart of gold. He always has a way of making me smile, no matter how bad I feel or how terrrible my day has been. As far as style goes...Danny has more style in one finger nail, than most have in a lifetime. Each and every one of you that had the privledge, nay the honor of watching a talented, happy, creative, sexy, and handsome man perform for the nation on Fame, mark my words this hasn't been the first time you've seen him, and it most definetly won't be the last.

Way to go danny will make it keep the dream alive .

As far as the performers that were on the first episode, Gary & Danny rocked. Danny showed personality and culture in his performance. That smile can make anyone melt. Not to mention those moves. He made me the "crazy cuban" salsera I am today. Gary....You go boy! I enjoyed your performance as well. You made a classic an original. Great choice! Alex Boyd.........the only thing I can say is you have a great voice. I didn't see one ounce of personality or dancing. Where is your triple threat? And lets not forget about the girls. Judy Ho, what was up with the ghetto fabulous dolphin chearleader costume. Shannon has the look, but I feel that the third girl had a better voice. Each of you did well. Congratulations for making it as far as you did. Last but not least....to the judges: Constructive criticism is good for all, but lying to those who didn't prove that they were a triple threat is wrong. I know that Danny showed you the 3 things you were looking for, singing, dancing, and the awsome personality. I have a feeling you were all to scared to see Danny catepolt into the industry and shock America!!!!!!!!!!!
