That Judy - what a little hottie.

She had the dance moves, but what a horrible singing performance. Bad song choice for her - that song was way too soulful for her voice. She should have picked something else.

Too bad she won't be around to gawk at again in a few weeks.

Well, Judy was *way* too nervous. She was determined, but she was nervous. I felt really sorry for her, like Debbie said, the judges hadn't really seen Judy *before* in the beginning and didn't know just how much progress she had made in 10 days!!! I really felt that if that other girl (the one with the Broadway voice) wasn't there, then Judy would have had a chance, but...alas. Anyway, Mackenzie I think her name is, didn't even advance when I thought she should have, and that other guy with that brown jacket advanced for some unknown reason...oh well. I really look forward to seeing just how these contestants develop.

wow. well judy could dance...i really didn't like her outfit though. she looked like she should have been a dolphins cheerleader...

Totally agree with ya when ya say she looked like a Dolphins Cheerleader...sorry, but EVERYTHING about her, especially when only three get to stay, said BYE BYE....too nervous, bad song, etc...

Hi everyone. I would just like to say in my sister's defense..yes Judy Ho is my sister...that her performance is not at all representative of her ability and talent. She did seem nervous and her performance was not as attention getting as it could have been, but I know she has a lot more fire than anyone got to see last nite. And anyone who has seen her perform or sing outside of this knows what I am talking about. I am actually my sister's own worst critic and I don't really have much to say about her performance last night except she can do a lot better...but watch out for her and keep supporting because she will be big someday...she is extremely talented and determined...and you can't hate on that.

yeah, i was kinda upset last night. anyone can see she has amazing talent. i felt really aweful because i could tell she was nervous, and i completly sympathize with her. i am definently the girl who sounds great alone or with a voice instructor, but put me onstage or in an audition, and everything goes out the window. not that i'm say she did bad or anything, not at all, i just know how it feels when you start singing and are thinking "that's not my voice, where did the power go" i gotta say, watching the tape of her rehersals, she was fantastic! absolutly amazing! this girl doesn't need this show to make it big, she's going to...i can tell!

Watching her from the initial audition she was one of my 2 or 3 favorites. She's extremely beautiful and sang great at the audition and seems to be a triple threat. I hope she still becomes famous.

Your sister is very talented, very lucky to have a sister like you, and I am sure she will go far in the future.


Besides, the SHOW probably picked out the outfit for her anyway!

Maybe this show is not the show where Judy will make her fame. She will get another opportunity, maybe from someone who watched the show and see her talent.

Hi everyone! I am so glad that there has been so much positive feedback for my sister. To clarify, Judy is a KNOCKOUT and trust me as her sister I can guarentee she looks just as beautiful when she wakes up in the morning as she did on television. Secondly, I agree that based on her performance she should not have made it to the next round, but having the privelige of hearing my sister sing and perform almost on a daily basis I can assure you she is much better than what you got to see. She was slightly nervous that day, who wouldn't be? But I can promise you all that she is an amazing talent, thats for sure. And also for futher clarification, she did not pick out her own outfit-they had stylists for the show who did that. and also as for song choice, she didn't really have a say in that either. In fact, prior to the show my sister called me several times and was very upset about the song chosen for her because she too felt as though it did not showcase her voice in the best light. I guess this post is to let all you know out there that you haven't seen thge best nor last of her yet. People who support her keep supporting..and those of you who have already written her off based on that one performance just wait and see- I hope she will have the chance to change your minds. Also I agree- her intro to "fallin" during her audition clip was killer. My sis could sing!!!! I am sorry as I am sure she is that she didn't represent as well as she could have, but with your support she will have another opportunity to soon!!! Also she will be having a website soon..because I am going to start one!!! So look out for that and I will post again soon. Much love to everyone!!

Judy Ho is going to make it.You all should not be so hard on these 24 finalist,they made it this far. No one is perfect and it takes failure to learn. Some one will like them . Remember that they have a heart and feelings.

That's the kind of positivity we need around here...we need to support anyone and everyone with the dream of wanting to share and bring the world of music and the arts into people's lives...everyone was incredibly talented to make it this far..and no matter where it takes them...at least they have brought music to our ears and love in our hearts...corny i know...but sooo true...like nas said..."Save the music y'all..."

I think they should bring back all 24 for a reunioun show..I think that would be interesting to watch...

Yes fuzzyfred you do bring up valid points..however I think that there is one point you are overlooking..In the industry...when a producer invests $200,000 for a live show they are putting on a show for a professional artist..before people will even come to your show you must be established as an artist and with that comes training for "being able to step up to the plate" everytime..nerves do not mean that an artist is not able to step up when the moment calls for it..it simply shows lack of experience..with no prior experience or training to come onto a NATIONALLY broadcasted show aired to 10+ million people.. I think she did fine..not GREAT certainly not her BEST..but decent given the circumstances..

She is an amazing singer, talent, no one is putting all the blame on the song..and I thought the outfit was just fine (it seems to be others who had a problem with it) but you can't attribute the whole entire performance to such things as she couldn't step up..or she can't cut it when it comes down to it..because then you are understating the fact of the matter which is pure and simple..being a seasoned performer comes with time and experience..and being nervous and faltering is only part of that journey..a path that everyone comes across and a situation everyone encounters on their way to fame...

I enjoyed reading your comments, they were very intellectually stimulating and although we seem to have a slight difference of opinion I think we essentially understand the same things about this process.

I do completely agree with Judy being amazing and I also don't consider it the "end" for her...it is definetly only beginning and as her sister I will do anything in my power to ensure that you all will be seeing more of her in the future!

ummm some comments...NSync were famous in Europe wayy before they made it big in the states and had performed to tens of thousands of people before they ever had to in the states..so trust me..they had their practice time..also serena toured with GLADYS Knight for freakin sake for like four years before..if that's not experience i dunno what is..harlemm i really have nothing to say because regardless of his prior experience (which I do not personally know of specifically so I can't say)..he is clearly amazing regardless of the circumstances..but I do not believe it is not about believing in oneself..becaus I know Judy believes in herself and is confident in her abilities...it is about human nature..and a part of that showed on camera that day but it definetly comes with the territory..we are not untouchable..immovable or unshakable..we are not immune and invincible..we are all incredibly susceptible to pressure-laden circumstances...I think if everyone was on par and on point all the time and there was no struggle, no uphill battle sometimes..there would never be self-improvement..and that goes for all people..not just singers and artists ya know...
