Shannon, Britney Spears look alike?

Did anyone else think that Shannon looked like Britney Spears?? With a bette voice of course

Great show, great talent. That says a lot coming from someone who dislikes most reality TV shows...

i'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks the same thing...her nose is just different but guaranteed if you put britney's nose on Shannon's face it's a dead look-a-like. Even the way she smiles dances and looks is exactly britney... kinda spooky if you ask me!

Absolutely, when my wife and I first saw her on stage...BEFORE she performed...I said to her..."Now, there's a girl with a lot of talent...she's gonna win."

yeah she does look like Britney, but thats what the people want to see, right? I think shes awesome though. Props to Shannon. rock on girl!

I went to high school with Shannon.....and she is as sweet and nice as she is pretty. We always knew she would go somewhere with all that talent!

LOL I said Shannon looked like Britney too. I had to look twice. lol At least I am not the only one.

Mark my word...Shannon WILL go all the way!!! Yes, she is extremely talented. Yes, she can get up on stage as the first performer and have the confidence of a superstar. But anyone who knows her knows what a remarkable person she is too. HUMBLE, sweet, caring and thankful for everything in her life! She is SO genuine. If you do a web search on Shannon, all you will find is charity events she has been involved with and pictures of her years as a BlazerDancer for the NBA where she did countless charity events there as well.

As a friend of Shannon, I am so proud of her and hope that everyone out there gets word on what a unique, classy, HIGH-MORALED individual she is!!!

No offense, but I didn't think she was very good at singing. I agreed with the woman judge...Shannon went flat a lot and had a lot of pitch problems. I am not in the business and I really don't have business saying that, but I am not trying to be rude. I am not saying she's terrible and will never make it. I really do think she could make it very far with practice. And she is a GREAT dancer and she dressed really well too. She just needs a little work, but then again, don't we all? I know I do.

yeah her fiance's name started with an L like Luke or haha i'm not even going to try I can't even think of any more names with L's.

well when i saw the show she blew me away and i do think she looks like britney wich kills her chances of having a career of her own. meaning she is going to have to work harder at it because im sure she doens't want to be compared to britney...thank god she has a better voice. the last thing we need is another britney spears, we already have to many of those.

good observation pricanbeauty79. thats is so true. unless she has something a lot different to offer than what miss spears has already showed to her public, she is in danger of falling into the "imitation" category. shannon has great talent and she will go far.

Shannon is amazing and yes she just happens to look a lot like Britney Spears. I know she hates hearing that because she wants to be known for her talent. For the guy that said she isn't a very good singer you should listen to her sing in person. She has performed at many Blazer games and brought the house down. She is getting married to a wonderful man, Ron, and I wish them the best. Honestly, if any of you knew her personally you would want her to go all the way. If there were angels on earth Shannon would be hiding wings......She's one of my best friends and I love her dearly.

Shannon actually is a very strong singer. Her field is very large since she sings country, christian, pop and R&B.

Kimmy, if Shannon looks so good, sings and moves great ON TV, I cannot imagine what I will experince IN PERSON! She is a FIND. I wish her the best.

I was at the FAME taping when Shannon performed. She was incredible. The TV airing did not nearly do her voice justice. She sings far better than Britney though they do look similar.

When we first met Shannon, we were taken aback by her beauty (Of course, that's the first thing you see) but then when she sang for the family, ohmigawd.....she was awesome! She is going to be a great addition to the family because they love to sing at family gatherings. (Shannon is probably the only one who can **actually** sing! LOL! OK...Just Kidding! But seriously...sad but true :-o.....)

Shannon is sweet, shy, kind, caring & beautiful - not to mention extremely talented.

You have to meet her.....she truly is beautiful inside & out.

Oh...about the Brittany Spears resemblence...somewhat but not really..... in person, she looks like an angel...beautiful does not even describe her appearance. Transcendence.....

Anyways, she can outsing Brittany anytime. She doesn't need those space age gadgets to change her voice. Shannon has a beautiful voice.

Also, people can change their appearances anytime....look at Faith Hill....worst of all...look at Christina Aquilera...(Christina is getting scary to look at). I think Shannon has a more classy look than Brittany.

First of all....good for you to stand up and take pride in your MORALS. That takes a lot of guts!!!! Shannon is right, a short skirt is not equivalent to being "slutty". Did anyone call FAITH HILL a slut when she sang recently in that ultra tiny skirt? Of course not. They called her confident and sassy. That is exactly what Shannon reveals! Besides, do you really think the contestants have much say in how they are dressed? Come on now.

I congratulate Shannon for addressing peoples' negative comments. I know they hurt her a lot since after all, she IS one of the most caring individuals I have ever met!!! - Quite, shy and extremely humble. Hard to believe when she gets on stage, slips into her "role" and belts out notes with such confidence and ease! And hopefully she will show her diversity. Shannon sings some amazing country and Christian songs with tremendous passion.

I totally agree that Shannon is the biggest triple threat. There were some other great singers. However, I hope that they will showcase their dancing more to reflect that they are a triple threat and not JUST a good singer.

Have you checked out all the cute photos of Shannon on Blazers.com ??? She has a lot of different looks - certainly not resembeling Britney.

I thought she looked A LOT like Britney last night...and she even sounded like her at times. It was kinda' freaky. About her comment on the whole "slutty" look...I never thought she looked that way. I think she is very pretty and depsite her looking like Britney Spears, Shannon doesn't look like a "slut." No offense Britney. MUAHAHAHA. I love Shannon's performance last night...singing, dancing, the works. YOU GO GIRL!!

She did have a strong resemblance to Britney last night... maybe she should try to change that a little bit (like do something with her hair perhaps?) in order to distance herself a bit from that image... She shouldn't have to do anything too drastic...

I think that people associating her with Britney may hurt her a bit in this contest...

For post #12, AlexBoydFan. I think you were thinking of the other blonde girl (with the pitch problems). I don't know what her name was, but she was the one who apologized for saying she would choose the show fame over her boyfriend. No one said anything bad about Shannon's performance. Everytime they have said she was perfect and had an amazing voice. I like Shannon. There is something about her. If there is one person out there to "outdo" Britney Spears it will be her look alike with a better voice and equivalent dance moves. The fact that she looks so much like Britney, people will notice and comment on it (which will put her above all of the other blondes, Jessica Simpson, etc.), her voice will blow people away. Regardless if she wins this thing, she will go far. I admire the fact that she is getting married, I just hope her and her fiance are ready for her fame. Fame will often tear people apart...

Wait, I didn't say anyone said something bad about Shannon's performance. And post #12 is from two weeks ago or so. That was after her first performance, not her second. And I know who I am talking about. I don't get people mixed up. Like I said before, it was regarding her first performance, not her second. Post #31 from me was about her second one though.

I am not a Britney Spears fan, but have watched her perform a few times. To me she dances like an awkward high school linebacker compared to Shannon.

Voice wise I suppose it might honestly take more than a couple songs to truly rate them.

Too much is being made about this comparison issue. It will probably hurt Shannon's chances of winning this particular competition, but she is already a winner regardless. Her career has now been lauched nationally and unless her naivete/sensitivity/intended marriage/morals get in the way, she should go on to be a star.

i do think that Shannon resembles Britney, but i like her WAY better. She is NOT a slut. I loved her voice, stage presence, style, ethics! i hope she, along with others go a long way!!
