Don’t believe all this propaganda stuff on the American and Zionist TV and radio portraying the American soldier as a ‘liberator’ of the Iraqis from the horrors of the Hussein oppression! If you still do then I am strongly advising you to visit Baghdad or any other city in Iraq. Stay there a day or two and you’ll get the true picture of the ‘paradise’ we are living in. We all remember as a nightmare these nighttime American bombings and this real bacchanalia of the first days of the American ruling in our country. How naïve we were! We hoped Yankees would bring us peace, would help us with building normal life. Alas!
An American block-post has recently appeared not far from my house and since then we have been living like in a siege. Every time when I leave my house I risk being rudely checked or searched or both in a street. You know I have never thought Yankees are capable of such brazen acting. They treat us like subhumans. And they don’t care a bit if it is a woman or a girl. Once I witnessed how they were searching an elderly couple looking somewhat suspicious for them. They did it before the eyes of this couple’s children, a young man and a girl. This was really disgusting! Is this a ‘civilized approach’, I wonder? Are ordinary Americans used to such treatment at their home?
I’ve noticed that in most cases Yankees are after money actually. This is kind of surprise for me. Are they underpaid or what? It is a real extortion. All more or less valuable things, say family relics or just fine ancient things catch their eye. This pathological lust of money and greediness is even amusing. It looks like American military of not so high position are trying to overtop their commanders, who ‘put on wealth’ while looting the museums in Baghdad.

I have also experienced this democracy a la America in Iraq. Me, my wife and my daughters are pretty fed up with it. We had even to leave Iraq and we are living in Syria now. We had to take the plunge following repeated attempts by occupants to dishonor my dear to my heart daughters. When I tried to defend my family the occupants threatened to arrest me. They said, “While you are behind the bars we’ll do it!” We were really scared and we had to flee. Yet we were lucky and now we are safe… unlike my neighbor.
This is another sad story. Once in the evening absolutely drunk soldiers rushed into his yard and tried to bring his daughters with them. Fortunately women from nearby houses heard the cries and ran to the place. But for their help this could have ended far worse. Thanks Allah the Almighty! But the girls, they are disgraced now and are unlikely to marry.

To tell you the truth, I don't believe a word of this!

Good example of the lies they use to get their own people to strap bombs to themselves while these "downtrodden reporters" that are submitting these posts (I see they are sooo poor they can't even afford a computer) sit around thinking of new ways to spread evil in the name of Allah.

Glad to see they are perceptive enough not to realize they are in the wrong topic area. Or maybe out of desperation they have been told by their leaders to hit English language message boards indicriminately to spread this message to "the masses". They may just copy and paste a pre-written script they were handed.

If I were the moderator, I would be watching these posts very very closely.

Hopefully it is just a hoax. But in this day and age, everything like this should be given special attention.

I find nothing extraordinary in it. Yankees are simply true to their nature. They are always the same in Badhdad and Okinawa and elsewhere. Having liberated Iraq of Saddam the brave American soldiers appear to be liberating the locals from some ‘prejudice’. You see this prevents them from being fully happy in Iraq. They want Iraqi female population to be always at their disposal, always ready to satisfy their primitive desires. Yuck! Beasts they are!

what I really like is that we had "an Iraqi" freed which was contradicting those saying and all the pro-war agreed with the poster.

Let me tell you a true story. A few years back some of our Canadian Forces were involved in peacekeeping mission in Somalia.

You might have read about it. To make a long story short, the fighting and pressure and conditions got to them and they snapped. They committed war crimes against some Somalis.
As with all scandals, this was eventually brought to the public's attention.

What did we do? Did we deny it in a surge of national fervor?
Did we rally around the soldiers and blame the Somalis? Did we just ignore it and hope it went away? NO an investigation was launched..... charges were laid..... the guilty were punished.
Being stronger than your foe does not make you right.....
Only by honouring ourselves and our integrity by the strictest codes of conduct and self evaluation can we be " right ".

My point? We did not shy from the hard truths of our own misdeeds and shortcomings? Does America have that kind convictions?

Would probably depend on where you were and how you believed as well - People in my state think completely different then those next to us.

people in the City of Tulsa think and talk different and act different then those in Oklahoma City - and we are about an hour and a half apart

my point was the previous one was talking about "the heaven" Iraq was after the fall of Saddam, everything was going very well ..... and all the "pro-war" was quite happy with that without questionning this guy about his living place ....

here we have another one (or two) saying the opposite and the first thing coming from people is: lier, you are not an Iraqi, what you say is crap ......
