British Baptists apologized for Britain's role in the so called trans- Atlantic slave trade, that claimed millions of Afican lives and shaped world history.

The Baptist group passed a resolution atoning for Britain's slave trade in 2007.

In march of 2007, then- British Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow on 200th anniversary of law that was said to have ended the slave trade, but refused to make a direct apology.

March 25 , 1807, Britain's Slave Trade Act is said to have prohibited British ships from transporting slaves, but Britain did not abolish slavery in its oversees territories until 1833.

What ahppend Malcolm you got bored of Zimbabwe and went back to this old chesnut?

Anyway I am not going to go back over all this again you havs aterted plenty of threads full of evidence blowing gunshot size holes in your arguements and a judge has thrown this case out of court 3 times to my recollection. The Christian group can apologise all they want ( they will get sued soon enough) but it will make little difference to anything plus it's strange they are sorry now but kept thier mouths shut last year when the UK commerated the abolishment of slavery.

People being punish for aplogizing for past actions in slavery is not a criminal offense. If is, it shows how corrupt (and heartless) the UK is to African civilians.

A better question is if I am bored with ex[osing Scotland involvement in slavery? nuclear weapons?

No it's not a criminal offence for groupa to unilaterally apolgise and it's not an offence for people to disagree with the stance of the governments in the UK ( hell I disagree with lots of things the UK and Scottish governments do) the difference between the UK and many African countries is we won't be killed / disappear for disagreeing with the government.

As for Scotland well you kepp telling yourself that but you know in your heart of hearts you have proved absolutley nothing apart from how much of an idiot you really are.
