Not sure what I should write here, other than why I am here, I guess:

I've landed here because I've been looking for an active site for interesting dialogue and civil debate.

This looks like a wonderful place for that! I look forward to getting my feet wet in some of the discussions... thinking and theorizing are great fun, in my view. Even disagreement can be productive when it doesn't degenerate into a playground spat. <g>.
