So I'm just about to finish The Secret Life of Bees. REALLY GOOD BOOK by the way. I almost hate it when I really like a book because then the next one pales in comparison. I need some suggestions of books that are REALLY good so I won't be so disappointed.
I just finished "The Sicilian" by Mario Puzo. I can't say it's a "really good book" but it is certainly a really interesting book. You get into the story real fast and want to keep reading to see what happens next.
I'm about three quarters of the way through The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards and I'm really enjoying it. I'm determined to finish it by the time the movie version airs on Lifetime this Saturday night. That gives me until 9pm on Sunday to finish just about 100 pages. I think I can do it. But yeah, I recommend it. It's a page turner.
Running with scissors was a really good book. I've read a lot of good ones over the years. maybe try a classic like gone with the wind or something like that.
hey zero i'm wondering if you ever finished the book in time for the movie. I caught that movie this past weekend and thought it was really good. I think I'm going to go and pick up the book this week.
I loved The Years of Rice and Salt, by Kim Stanley Robinson. It's an awesome look at how the world would have been had the black plague killed off 99% of europe instead of the 60% it did. honestly, pick it up. It's worth the 10.00$
