| It's all a huge waste of money no olympic games has ever been profitable and this stadium is just another waste of money, the only hope the olympic board have of even clawing back a little bit of the mopney is to hope that one of the many soccer teams in London decide to buy it howevere the only team that maybe needs a ground is Fulham and that is to far away from their fan base ( if my London geography is right).
Anyway London was the wrong location for the games it's just like the dome, these are meant to be the olympics for BRITAIN yet some burecratic London blinded idiot decide to go for the far south east of the country what's wrong with the Midlands for an olympics. The fact is modern Britain is composed of the following parts England, Scotland, N Ireland, Wales and London and most people in the North and by North I mean Manchester to Lerwick are getting annoyed with this concept that anything good has to go to London and the rest of the UK can feed off the scraps.
Nobody has yet explained to me why it is that a sports group for disabled kids has had it's lottery funding stopped to pay for the olympics I notice Seb Coe ( I'd like to smack that smug little s**t) and Ruth Kelly seem to dodge that question but hey we should stop complaining London has the games after all. | |
