AFRICOM: 2008 U.S. Military Command for Africa |
| Posted by: malcolm xx | | U.S. plans o create a military command for Africa, would be known as U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM). It will be up and running by Sept. 2008 . Where its located or how much it will cost( American taxpayers).
But the Inter Press service (IPS) revealed that since 2002 the" greatest concentration of U.S. military power" in Africa has been based at Camp Lemoiner in former French colony of France.
According to Al Jazeera, the U.S. had divided Africa into several commands: The Central Command handles the Middle East and the Horn of Africa; the European Command covers North Africa; and Pacific Command is responsible for Madagascar.
Al Jazeera says " The U.S. is concerned at Chinese attempts to gain greater conrol over Africa's natural resources.
Media reports say Gen. "Kip" Ward , a black man will be in charge of AFRICOM. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: malcolm xx | | The Pentagon will not confirm that PERMANENT U.S. military bases are being built ( or being used) throughout Africa. But says that an American military buildup is underway.
U.S. military have been conducting feasibility studies, making secret agreements and spent billions from their SECRET BUDGETS.
From OIL RICH nothern Angola up to Nigeria, from the Gulf of Guinea to Morocco and Algeria, from the Horn of Africa down to Kenya and Uganda, and over the PIPELINES ROUTES from Chad to Cameroon in the west, and from SUDAN to the Red Sea in the east- U.s. Generals have been landing and taking off, meeting with local officials.
U.S. military officias call new bases " forward staging depots" and " seaborne truck stops" for the equipment which American land forces need to operate .
Dr. Prexy Nesbitt clarfies what reason is of AFRICOM:
"...a U.S. military penetration of the African continent and that this penetration is... motivated by the U.S. quest...for new sources of OIL and OTHER MINERALS" | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: malcolm xx | | WHERE ARE THE MEDIA REPORTS? Why don't we here more about this military operation ? I know few have heard of AFRICOM. This is a U.S. military command being created to control another CONTINENT natural resources(oil, diamonds, uranium, coltran) and American media refuse to do its job .
West Africa alone sits atop 15% of the word's oil, and by 2015 the U.S. will be dependent on Africa for 25% of its oil. It's African oil ( not middle east) that keeps America going.
Most oil from Saudi Arabia and the Middle East goes to Europe, Japan, China or India.
Local Africans are demanding their share of what is really, their oil. They are now routinly, viciously suppressed in eastern Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea and elswhere , by "African" troops trained and equipped with AMERICAN TAX DOLLARS.
This is what AFRICOM is all about and what it will be doing in the next century?

NOw I admit that not a lot of people know about Africom but it struckl a bell with me and I could not remebere why and the it hit me. US military bases in Stuttgart and Eastrn European states aree called EUcom US bases in Japan and other Asian countries PacifiCom I thik there is also a central com based in South America. Europe, Asia, South America and now Africa are you seeing the trend I am? Now when you look at it like that it may yet be to plunder the African states but they have not plundred Europe or Japan etc etc in fact in Esatern Europe and in South America these are startegic nd development posts.
Anyways I tried to fins something on Eurocom and was stuck but this might be useful it on Afri:
