Two years ago, singer Teairra Mari was at the top of the rhythm and blues world. With fellow seventeen year old Rihanna the two rocked the music world with their hit singles, “Make Her Feel Good” and “Pon De Replay.” Now eighteen Rihanna is a superstar while Mari is without a label. While both experienced similar debut album sales Rihanna was continually promoted while Mari unfairly was under promoted leading to her departure from Island Def Jam. Mari has been very low key since her departure from Def Jam, only recently spotted with friends Kelly Rowland and Solange Knowles in Miami. Since her debut in 2005 Mari has now flipped her appearance, electing to go the carrot top route and has bulked up ten to twenty pounds since her inauguration. She continues to seek a label that will “Make Her Feel Good.” | |
