| According to study released by the University of Central Florida's Institute for Diversity and Ethics found athlectic directors, confrence commissioners and university presidents " overwhelmingly are white". The study on data from 2004-05 :
- All 11 NCAA Division 1-A conference commissioners- called " the most powerful people in colege sports- were white men.
- All 35 conference commissioners in Division 1 were white. 6 were woomen
-In Divisiion 1-A, 94.1 percent of university presidents of the NCAA were white, 3.4 percent were Black 2.5 percent were Latino. !5 women have position
- Out of 119 Division 1-A football programs, 6 Blacks have head coaching position. But Black players make up 45.4 percent of athltetes. 
_ Blacks made up 57.8 percent of Division 1 basketball players but make up only 25.2 percent of of all Division I head coaches.
