| Posted by: HECK! | | I like A Christmas Story. It's my go-to.
Scrooged with Bill Murray is one of my favorites.
Die Hard is awesome too. John McClane was like Santa to all those poor hostages.

| Posted by: fuscia | | We do a tree with colored lights and a star at the top. Nikki wants the star because that is how the wisemen found Jesus. Anyhoo, we have colored lights outside too. Usually we have stockings, but I lost them somehow this year. We leave out cookies for Santa, but I like Buffy's idea of leaving pizza. Almost every year my mom and my sisters come over and we make tamales all day. It doesn't seem like Christmas until I can smell the tamales cooking.
Christmas movies: gotta have Christmas Vacation and Christmas Story. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Pippin | | We have a real tree every year, but I think that this is our last year, as Dad's allegies are getting worse over the years. We put colored lights on the tree and outside (the ones outside are up year-round), and we have a star on the tree. We usually sing carols in the warmth of our home, but haven't for the past two years. We open most of our presents on Christmas morning (my brother, cousin, and I are up by at least 5 ), but the kids in the family have worked hard and finally opening one present Christmas Eve night has been accepted as another Christmas tratition for our house. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: Pippin | | Oh yeah, and we send out cards and do stockings. My parents put up stockings for the kids and for the past few years my brother and I put them up for my parents. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | My mom suffered with tree allergies for years. When I was about twenty-23 she at long last got a fake one. I miss the real trees at her house, but it is so much better to see her not feeling ill.
Today is tamale day. Hopefully this cold will not ruin the taste for me. | | Reply To this Message
