Apprentice VI Spoilers

The following things seem to be changing for the next season of the Apprentice (beginning January 7th, I think)

• The winning Project Manager will stay Project Manager until he or she loses a task.
  
• The winning Project Manager will also sit in on the losing team's boardroom session to help advise Trump on who should be fired. (Should shake up the dynamics between the candidates, if I do say so myself.)
  
• There are NO MORE BORING REWARD SEGMENTS. The winning team will just get to live with style in a "luxurious" mansion.
  
• The losing team will be forced to sleep outside in a tent erected in the backyard of said mansion they'll be staying in, and have to use outdoor showers and toilets.

HAHAHAHA...

That is fantastic. Sounds freakin' great. Since it's going to be in Los Angeles there's no Trump Tower suite involved.

So Trump will be in LA for the Boardroom? Kind of weird, since I doubt he's out there all that often. Still kind of cool.

My only thought about the tent thing is... how will they shower; how will they get their clothes clean and all of that?

I like the idea of the winning PM staying on until being defeated, and sitting in on the other team's boardroom. Very, very good ideas.

and that Frank guy looks like a tool. So far, looks like no hotties for the ladies. Aaron and Tim seem the closest things.

And this show just makes me feel so unaccomplished when I see people who are younger than me be more successful

well, i'm not playing games or scratching butt. it angers ME because i'm actually trying hard to make something of myself. I keep getting doors slammed in my face, or having to work with people who are holding me back. I get zero opportunities and these tools are making millions. I stamp that NO FAIR.

Not that these peeps don't work hard, i'm sure they do. but DAMMIT.

When does the show start?

The PM rule won't make Trump fire them; they just have to lose the task to lose the position of PM, fired or not. Should be cool. These new twists will work well in the show, I think. Sure, it's Jumping the Shark, but the show was becoming formulaic.

Totally. Plus the get all the inside dirt. And when it comes time to swap players they know who the bad players are. Wonder if the winning PM gets too mouthy Trump will fire them. I tell you I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that boardroom, winner or loser.

Nah, I reckon the winner will be safe. As long as they play the game, they'll be cool. Perhaps next year he'll fire a winner for mouthing off, to rock the boat a bit, but he wouldn't do it this season, I think.

I reckon as long as you go in, talk smack to the losers, then you're cool. If say something stupid like I wanna do Trump's daughter, then that's when you're at risk for a firing.

These new rules must be real. I saw a preview the other day and saw the tents. This is great!

As for my pick....hell, I dont know. I read the other thread first...saw the comment Gaboman made about an Asian guy and then lo and behold, I come in here and see an Asian guy. Am I inclined to think perhaps he could have been right? Maybe....but I dont know...Im not ready to make a pick yet based on photos. I mean this guy could be a moron and how can one tell by a photo. Though the comment alone makes me wonder. I think perhaps that a woman might be the one to win it again this time. I think I might be more inclined to make a guess after watching the first show. I have to see them first and see how they act and do the jobs.

A woman is a very good possibility. Been a while since he's hired a woman, and he wouldn't want to seem sexist.

Last season, I picked Sean from the get-go because he was different, being English and all, plus I like James Bond, with all those gadgets, and I like scones, especially with jam and cream, so I just put all those together and knew he'd win.

Trump has picked all white people so far...

Man, I saw a really long preview for the show the other night. If I knew who was who I could have figured out who's going to last. They showed a lot of stuff.
