I know that a lot of people on In review have at times criticized Bush for putting his foot in his mouth but I was talking to friends about this and we in the UK may have a challenger to Bush's title of king of the gaffes. step forward Prince Phillip, for those of you who have no idea who he is well he is of Greek Birth and married to the Queen and as such is able to open his mouth in any country in the world and embarrass the British Public. Below are some of his more famous gaffes ( some border on racism IMO) and you should keep in mind that not once has been criticized by anybody.

To a Tamil priest " are you involved with those Tamil tigers then"

To Britishstudent's studying in China " you better leave before you get slitty eyed"

To a Driving instructor in Scotland " how do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to get thewm through the test"

To an aborigine in Australia " still throwing speara at each other"

"Everyone wants more lesiure now they complain that they are unemployed"

"British women can't cook"

"If a crickiter wnet into a school and battred children to death which he could do are we going to ban cricket bats" in reaction to the Dunblane shooting.

"Deaf no wonder you are deaf is you stand near them all the time" talking to a deaf group that had set up a steel band.

"You are a women arent you" to a lady who gave him a gift.

" Oh no I might catch some gahstly diesease" On being asked if he wanted to hold a Koala Bear

"You can't have been here that long you have not got a pot belly" To a UK man in Hungary

"Aren't you all descended from Pirates" to Cayman Islanders

"You managed not to get eaten then" to a student who had been trekking through New Guinea

"If it's got four legs and it's not a char has wings but is not an aeroplane then the Cantonese will eat it" At a wildlife fundraiser

"God it looks like it was put in by an Indian" noticing a faulty fuse box at a factory in Manchester.

I have a deep dislike for the royal family, with the exception of the late Princess Diana & her sons. Prince Phillip is an "arse".

Prince Phillip does say some stupid thing however he is in very close contention for the top of that chart with John Prescott and Boris Johnson.

I however, as stated before, am a royalist and have nothing but respect for her majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It is just a pity that Prince Phillip doesn't know how to put duty before his own personal opinions. I bet you can't name one moment when the Queen has said or done something that has made people laugh at
her, ridicule her or made her seem pompus.

Very true Tiger, while I am not a huge fan of the royal family the queen does do a lot for the country and unlike some memebers of her family has manged to live a life outside of the Sun and the News of the world.

While Boris johnson and John Prescott do generally do put thier foot in it ( Boris especially) at least hier party leaders can pull them up about it and tell them to shut up howevere the Prince is above them and cannot be reprimanded but you would think the queen would have had a word or two with him.
