Lets Say Thanks

I have come upon a website that sends postcards to troops over seas. There are a varity of cards designed by kids, that you can choose and several messages you can add to it or personalize it yourself. The site doesn't even ask an email address or anything just your name and town.

Thanksgiving is coming up and this is a good time to tell soldier thank you for all they do that allows you to be with your family during the holidays when they aren't able to be at home with theirs.

If you would like to send a post card, post here and I will pm you the site or email it to you either way.

Anyway I think it is a really cool to be able to have a way to tell someone thankyou for all that they are doing.

You know to show support of the TROOPS no matter how you feel about the war.

I sent one. I support the troops... but, I'm still not sure that I believe that we belong over there. I did my own message, and sent one off. I told them that I think that they are doing a wonderful job, but that I don't think that we should be there, and that I hope they will come home safe, and soon.

I chose one of the messages they had to offer because I never know what to say. They had quite a few messages to choose from and they were all good. I started tearing up on a few of them.

Damon just did one. He said thank you for protecting us and for sacrificing for us all. (yep, new vocab word he had to work into the message)
