Pretty slick. I liked it all cept the skyscrapers. Took away from the magical wonderland feeling.

Might fit in at the movies, with some backstory, but in the trailer, I was like, 'huh?!?!?!'

When I went to see Happy Feet this weekend, that was one of the trailers.

Let me tell ya... that theatre was PACKED with kids... and it was noisy as hell, even during the trailers. Well, this HP trailer starts, and you could have heard a pin drop. I was leaning forward, eyes glued to the screen, and totally enthralled.

Whidden... in the book, they go away from Hogwarts, and into the city, where the Ministry of Magic is. So, they covered it right. I think that it's great... because it's showing them, away from their private world of magic, like in the book. Spot on!!! I can't wait until July 13th.

Looks pretty sweet. Got me all excited for the movie again.

"If Voldemort's building up an army, than I want to fight!" - I have to say that wasn't the best acting I've seen from him (definitely not down to the first movie's standards, though).

kick ass! Wooooo! I can't wait!

I just realized that the reason I don't believe Snape killed Dumbledore without Dumbledore's o.k. is because of Alan Rickman's Snape. He brings something to a not so nice character that makes me hope he is somehow good.

I was thinking something similar to that when I was watching the trailer too.

Alan Rickman rocks

It is weird to see them outside of a magic world setting. Kind of doesn't look right. When that happens it reminds me they're all a bunch of sassy British kids.

I want an American school of magic in the movie, dammit.

Well, they still have people that they know in the muggle world. The sixth book starts out in the Prime Ministers office. They do have run-in's with the non-magical world. But, I like seeing that. They aren't on their own planet... just a part of the world, and living stealth like.

Well Heck, Kris and I created the RPG with the Bracken Cascade School, so you can be our screenwriter and then pitch it.

I wonder if they can get Tony Blair to act in the sixth movie. That'd be cool. He did get into the Simpsons once, so it's definitely possible.

I wonder if they're even thinking of asking him...

Was Tony Blair PM during those years? If I remember correctly, the series began in 91? was it 91? so ah hell, I am to tired and or lazy to look it up.

He became Prime Minister in '97. If I remember correctly, the Prime Minister in the book had recently had the job passed onto him, which is interestingly correct. Unless I'm just making that up on my head.

Does anybody remember what they named the Prime Minister in the book? Even if the character is someone else, Tony Blair has the appearance, the talk, the walk, and a face the whole world recognizes as PM of GB. Not to mention he's nowhere near as boring as John Major.

I can't really say I was all that impressed with the trailer, unless there's another one out that I missed
