| Good Samaritan Ambushed, Robbed While Returning Wallet
A 19-year-old woman in downtown Orlando who was trying to do a good deed by returning a found wallet was attacked and beaten by a several men waiting to ambush her, police said.
Investigators said the victim was trying to return the wallet at a 7-Eleven convenience store located on Colonial Drive and Magnolia Avenue when she was attacked.
Detectives said one of two men was waiting in the convenience store after the victim agreed to meet him at the business to return his lost phone, police said.
Police officers also said when the victim pulled into the store parking lot, another vehicle pulled into the station.
"A second vehicle pulls up behind the victim's vehicle and blocks them in," Orlando police Lt. Laura Houston said. "So, now we have a total of four suspects."
One of the men pulled out a gun and pointed it at her head as they stole her vehicle.
"It is amazing," Houston said. "In the city of Orlando tries to do a good thing and return a phone and she ends up getting carjacked at a 7-Eleven. It is amazing."
