I think this movie looks great. It looks funny but not stupid funny. And it's an original idea for once. I hope it's as good as it seems.

So... it's a comedy? I read the premise and thought this could make a good thriller/sci-fi kind of deal, but then read Ferrell's on the cast list... so, uh...

Still sounds cool.

Yeah, the previews show it as a comedy. Farrell is acting like Farrell, not over the top though.

He's like Jim Carrey in that way. You always expect them to be so larger than life in each film. Ron Burgandy, Ricky Bobby, Frank The Tank, etc. for example.

His character is supposed to be some boring, invisible middle management loser. I don't see Farrell breaking into his Neil Diamond impression. That would be cool though.

i'm just glad they're coming up with real original scripts now. I'm tired of re-makes or book adaptations, or part 5s, or capote THE OTHER VERSION. please.

Absolutely. I'm just waiting to hear this was a 70's sitcom of some sort.

How many video game movies have their been. Or horrid cheeseball flicks starring Larry The Cable Guy or Carrott Top.

Of course it's not so much the writers, it's the studios trying to hack apart original scripts to make them more mainstream.
