| Sometimes it's easy for us to forget how personal the issues impacting our nation can be for everyday families just like yours.
Joseph Williams helped remind us all of the heroic and brave sacrifices of our men and women serving in the war on terrorism. He knows how much they put on the line each day - because his son, Michael, died in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Can you imagine how much greater this loss is for him when he has to deal with people like Cindy Sheehan who continuously speak out against our nation and our troops?
Please - read his message below, and forward it on to your friends. We want every person in the nation to read Joseph William's message to the American people.

JOSEPH WILLIAMS
Vacaville, California
My son, U.S. Marine Michael Jason Williams, lost his life in the war against terrorism. I share that in common with Cindy Sheehan. I also hail from Cindy Sheehan's hometown - Vacaville, California.
But that's where the similarities end.
I have chosen to speak up and speak out IN SUPPORT of our country and the fight against Islamic terrorism. This will be a long and difficult battle. The enemy is fierce, and they have been allowed to enhance their abilities and develop new techniques to kill and maim for over 20 years now, with no nation really making it a priority to stop them - until now.
I teamed up with Move America Forward last year to go to Crawford, Texas as part of the "You Don't Speak for Me, Cindy" tour. I lent my voice to this radio ad urging support for the men and women of the U.S. military during the holiday season. Listen to the clip here. As a proud American who put in 5 1/2 years of service to the United States Navy (including serving during the Vietnam War) I feel I must stand with those who serve today.
I have also joined Move America Forward on their national bus tour that culminated in a big pro-troop rally in Washington, D.C. I demanded that Cindy Sheehan stop using my son's name in her advertising against the war. Ms. Sheehan refused to honor my request, disgracing both my son and me.
This past week I heard news reports that Cindy Sheehan was being considered for a Nobel Peace Prize. Can you believe that? The woman who has called terrorists "freedom fighters" and who attacks our troops, our military and our Commander in Chief was considered for a Nobel Prize.
Instead of a Nobel Prize, how about we all rally together and help send a message to the world that Cindy Sheehan doesn't speak for us!?! There's a really easy way for us to do this right now.
A brand new book that counters the negativity of Cindy Sheehan is about to come out. It tells the stories of Gold Star Families, including myself, who love and support our military men and women and who are committed to the fight against terrorism.
This great new book is called, "American Mourning," and is written by Melanie Morgan (Chairman of Move America Forward, host on KSFO radio, columnist at WorldNetDaily) and Catherine Moy of the Vacaville Reporter. I consider Melanie to be a dear friend (here is a picture of the 2 of us together at the big 9/11 Commemorative Event) and I am hoping this new book is a huge success.
We can send this book to the top of the Bestsellers List and make it the talk of the nation. We can get the OTHER side of the story told. My goodness, Cindy Sheehan has had her story told for almost 2 years, can't we Gold Star Families who SUPPORT what our children did get just 2 weeks or 2 months to have our voices heard?
Maybe you have someone serving in the military who would appreciate knowing that Americans do honor and care for them. Or maybe you have a liberal, anti-war friend who can read "American Mourning" and get their much-needed education on the real Cindy Sheehan.
Thank you for supporting the honorable men and women of our Armed Forces. With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon it will become a bit lonely for some of them, being so far away from family and friends.
Please keep our military personnel in your thoughts and prayers and support them and their missions. They'll do the rest, and they're damn good at their jobs!
Respectfully Yours,
Joseph Williams
