Best Picture Predictions?

Best Picture Nominess Are:

CHICAGO
GANGS OF NEW YORK
THE HOURS
THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS
THE PIANIST

I'm proud to say that I have seen only ONE of these films (LOTR), therefore we need feedback from those who have.

Until otherwise proven - LOTR has my vote.

The only film out of those that I didn't see was 'The Pianist'... which I'm sure is very good.
'Chicago' was OK... not too much distinction from 'Moulin Rouge.'
'The Hours' was a terrif. flick!
'Gangs of New York' was alright, but I still don't know why they put Leo in those parts that, in my opinion, he doesn't fit.
And... yes, I'm an LOTR fan,... big time!.... and it would be a bit of a disappointment to me if TTT doesn't get the award... but I think I would much rather see next years 'Return of the King' be an award winner.
Unfortunately, I think the most likely to get the award is 'Chicago'... simply because everyone's raving about it... then maybe 'The Hours'... and then LOTR.

With the exception of the fact that I have not seen The Hours, I think Chicago will take it. I recently saw the film and it is fantastic. I loved it. Gangs of New York won't get it, although it is a fine film, I don't think it has what it takes to beat out Chicago. I thought Moulin Rouge should have won it last year so maybe I am biased to the whole Musical genre we have going on. I am just moved by film as well as song and to put the two together gives me a wonderful feeling , as all great movies should.
