as an R&B/hiphop artist...what would everyone rate beyonces career and present status...
i give her a solid 8/10

She's dropped off a little though... I'd say about 7/10.

Beyonce is so beautiful!! I think she is flawless with and without makeup! So many people say that she only got big with Jay-Z but I say it's the other way around!! She reminds me of Bridjet Bardot. She can sing like no other person and should get the respect she deserves. Less face it, she did get to big for destiny's child but not because of J-Z because most of the world think exactly the same thing as me! Leave her alone!

I cannot stand beyonce. She ruined the third austin powers. Her music is garbage, along with her acting. It seems as through the years in pictures, etc her image has become increasingly more caucasian. Perhaps in an attempt to become more popular she is trying to become "whiter"? Look at pictures of her with Destiny's Child from years back compared to now. I mention austin powers because i recently watched it, and her acting was sickening. sure she's popular with the 10-15 year old suburban pre teen crowd, who make up the majority of her album sales along with most of the other hip hop artists sales. Another thing. Sean Combs, Puff daddy, P diddy, Diddy: many names, one ******.

I think I know where your coming from with P-diddy, I'm with you there. I really liked him before but after seeing him doing "making the band" I saw another side to him, more like a snoby side NOT a rap gangsta! But, I think Beyonce has just got an amazing opportunity and taken it, who wouldn't? She was hot in Destiny's child and I would say her image has become true to her. I mean, who wants to stay the same girl in Destiny's child?. I dunno what you mean by her trying to look white?? Do you mean her lighter hair? I think that being black or white has nothing to do with having long black platted braides and loving hip-hop-you can do that no matter what your colour is-why can't she black and try and be a little less sterotypical? I see nothing wrong with that! Although I agree, her hip-hop stuff did suite her more, I still think she is doing well otherwise why all these big hits?? Are well, not everyone can agree right? Don x
