Lawless, Mys and I have been watching Big Brother 7: All-Stars this summer. For those that don't know, Big Brother is a 'reality' show on several different TV networks across the world. A select amount of people are locked in a house together for a predetermined amount of time as one person is evicted each week and one person gets a million bucks. Not too unlike several other 'reality' shows that clog our airwaves.
Anyway, I'm not sure who first coined the term, but a 'Show-mance' is something that has transpired on Big Brother where two of the contestants end up becoming romantically and/or physically involved. Is it because they're on TV and locked away from society? Sure it is. That's why it's a Show-mance.
Therefore! If you're significant other, married or not, went on this show or one like it, would you let them have Show-mance in order to win one million dollars? Would you break up with them? I'm not talking Indecent Proposal or anything, let's say it's non-sexual... just rounding a couple basing but never going home, as the kids say.
I'm not afraid they'd leave me, but i wouldn't risk it. You can't gamble that away just for some stupid money.
and Heck! if this is your way of asking if you can mack on some chick on some reality show, you're toast. I'd slap yourself if I were you.
HOWEVER, if BonJovi were on the reality show I was on, I'd have to be able to mack with him... I mean, that just goes without saying.

yes, I would be okay with that. Good thing is that my husband and I have a trust level thats beyond most other relationships I think.
If I thought he could win a cool mil, and he had to flirt or kiss some gal occasionally to get it....Im okay with that.
See, even if by some chance he left me after he won the mil, then I would get half regardless (since my state is one that would do that) and I'd get the rest of his just for child support alone.
So really....its in his best interest to win it and come home.
