The Dan Band is freakin' great. Google their name and check the site for a few clips.

Basically, it's this guy who sings older songs originally sung by women. He adds a spin to it and throws in cuss words here and there.

You might remember The Dan Band as singing during Frank The Tank's wedding in Old School, "I f'n need you tonight!"

Also a cameo in Starsky & Hutch remake.

Dude had a special on Bravo that was excellent. Check it out.

I found out it was a real band a while back and saw the Bravo special. Hilarious. I want to get his CD.

Alright, I saw The Dan Band last weekend at the House Of Blues. Let me say: he rocked.

If you have never been to a HOB let me tell you they are pretty similar. Hip, expensive, compact yet pretty dope to see a concert at. Imagine a bar/restaurant and the middle is cut out and you can look down on little stage. Down below is an extra bar and what not.

Anyway, Dan rocked it, playing some new songs and putting on quite the show. His improv stuff was on the money, taking jabs at the crowd and what not. And three drunk chicks jumped on stage to try and talk to him, give him panties, etc. It was great.

I had a blast. If you ever get a chance, check him out.
