Best 80's music

Are there songs from the 80's that you just love to this day? I just added Mirror in the Bathroom by English Beat to myspace profile. You just can't find English Beat CD's anymore.

What are the songs for you?

My fav. 80's group is DeBarge. They were so cool.

The wife likes A-ha. A lot. A bit too much, if you ask me.

Actually, they're pretty cool, but their songs sound the same. Some normal dude's singing, then they'll go into this high-pitch wailing towards the b-sec or chorus.

I liked Take on Me , by Aha. That was cool. The rest of their music kind of tanked for me.

Def Leppard is it, for me. I was obsessed with the guys for the entire 80's and most of the 90's. I still love 'em... but, I don't go crazy over them anymore.

Anything by the Cure or the the Smiths. I still love the cure. I can hear that stuff for hours.... then cry for years. haha.

Madness Our House, One Step Beyond, Pain and Scandal

Journey I love them still & Journey is not Journey without Steve Perry.

I have long passed my Smith's phase, and the Cure, well the only one I still love is Just like Heaven, but it reminds me of someone.

I'm not much of an 80's music fan. I suppose if I had to chose a couple of songs I would pick the following.

One of the soundtracks of the Clash band...

The Clash band and the lead singer of this band Joe Stummer has been film by Julien Temple and will be release at all uk cinema this summer on the 18th day of May..The Future is Unwritten

Anything from The Cure, Depeche Mode, dancy popy tunes are always good from that era!

Anything by Depeche Mode, New Order. Which reminds me Anton Corbjin's movie on Ian Curtis of Joy Division comes out in a week or so.
