Is anyone else watching this?


I'm like totally in love with Dilana. The woman knocks me outta my socks, literally. She's sexy, knows how to sing, and would make an awesome front "man" to the group.

I am Lawless. I like Storm and Dilana (the pierced girl). I don't like the Canadian contender Lukas. (funny eh?)

I think they will probably select a female this round.

I'm hoping that they will go with a woman, to front the band... namely Dilana.

I wouldn't mind Storm up there as well. She's good... but, no one, in my opinion is in Dilana's catagory.

So, I'm going to watch it now, because someone is going home tonight.
Personally, I'm hoping that it's Jill, Zayra, Phill, or Ryan.

I would be watching it - I used to watch Rockstar:INXS, usually for the really crap singers that some people were praising - but I don't have the channel that shows it here anymore.

Well, it's good this season.


I was soooooooooooooo happy that Phill went home last night.

The INXS one was good too, but half of the singers were just plain bad.

There was this woman who lasted up until the final 4 who was just dreadful. But everyone would cheer her, and they all wanted to hear her (completely hacked) version on Bohemien Rapsidy over and over again... what was with that?

What kind of songs are they singing now? Queen, U2, Pink Floyd, etc?

Well, Supernova is three guys...

Tommy Lee (formerly from Motley Crue and solo)
Jason Newsted (formerly from Metallica)
Gilby Clarke (formerly from Guns n' Roses)

They are looking for a lead... and it's not going to be stuff that's as hard as one would initially think. They have some people on here that shouldn't be singing, in my opinion. And there are others who just plain can't do rock. But, there are good peeps performing... esp Dilana.

Yeah, I saw the Supernova line-up. Pretty wicked.

They had that problem on INXS too, so many people who could sing but just couldn't rock... and it was funny to see them try. The third to last person on the show couldn't rock, but he could sing... His name was something stupid like Mig.

The ones that can't sing are the funniest. I bet with folks like Tommy Lee and that, the ones that can't sing get blasted pretty bad... damn I wish I still had that damn digital cable!

I just wanna know what kind of songs do the singers performer? They typically have to choose from a bunch of songs... do they do Metallica or Guns n' Roses' stuff? I don't think they did those bands at all for the INXS version.

On INXS, the cool part was when you were in the bottom 3, you had to perform a INXS song right there and then and they'd get rid of you based on that performance... so they went through a good chunk of the INXS catalogue. 'Twas good.

No, they aren't preforming stuff from the line ups original bands!!!

There do things from all different groups, including David Bowie, Cydni Lauper, The Verve, Nirvana, Black Crows, Billy Idol, The Rolling Stones, Wallflowers, etc...

There is a list of songs for them to choose from. It isn't so much that they have to rock out... well, they do.. but, they need to show a stage presence.

I've been watching the last three or so weeks. I like Dilana and Toby, and HATE Lukas. He looks horrible with the makeup and all the strange faces that he makes, and he is painful to watch. His voice is bleah, but he may win it. Why? IMO because Toby is too good looking, Dilana is too strong of a personality.

They picked Lukas. What a total let down. Out of the four finalists, this is what happened tonight.

Magni was let go first. Then, Toby was let go. Lukas and Dilan each performed, and then they went with Lukas.

I will not see them, or purchase ANYTHING by them. HOW could they choose to go with a guy who sounds like he's eating the f'n microphone? And he does these body jerks all over the stage... looking like he's having a seizure, or something.

All I know is that Dilana has GOT to put out an album. Gilby said that he would help her produce one.
