Strange Box in Prince Of persia:SoT

I finished PoP:SoT about 13 times.
When i Played it few days ago i spotted a strange box in the waterfall cave.
It glows, and a melody plays when i smash it, but nothing more happens...

Does someone know what does it do ??

Please tell me !
