Iraq seems to think so.

Just today it was announced that Iraqi forces are setting up a two-layer defence ring around Baghdad (this is according to US intelligence officials).

" The Iraqi military believes that U.S. and allied forces will break through the first ring but be held back by the inner ring's better-trained and better-equipped Special Republican Guard, the officials said."

Assuming we don't bring out the new and improved infrared anti-personnel LASER weapon. Assuming they're attacked by ground forces at all, indeed!

Of course.. those assumptions would probably be right.. but I don't think for a minute that U.N. wouldn't be ABLE to march right through them given enough time & resources. Question is SHOULD they..?

That does seem to be the question of the day.

Should they MARCH right through them? As a last resort.

Should they bombard them with large amounts of air force weaponry? If they don't comply with UN inspections - why not? They're fully aware of the consequences of their actions. If they have nothing to hide - they will have no problem complying.

One would think if they truely have nothing to hide then there'd be no worries.. ..so far inspectors have found nothing and had good cooperation from Iraq yet dispite this Bush keep pounding away with his pro-war rhtoric *sigh* So I'd be prepairing for the worst my self if I was them.

Anyway Bush needs to share his so called proof!!! C'mon Bush.. ..give us and even more importantly.. ..the rest of the world the evidence we need to back YOUR war on Sadam!

Honestly, if all of us knew more about this Saddam guy, we might support Bush in his war.

Read the UK dossier on Saddam and Iraq. He's a REALLY REALLY BAD guy.

But, yes, I agree in that Bush needs to supply his proof before he jumps the gun. We need the world's support (a tough thing to garner at this junction) prior to initiating this war.

In other news, chemical weapon war heads were found - empty. However, the point is - they have them. Why?
