Ja. They haven't really played the Simpsons here in years, so I'm wondering how eager they'll be to release it at the cinemas. I'm sure they will though.

I will be there for sure, no doubt about it. Wonder what it will be about. The run time should be what, hour and a half or so? Hope they can keep the story going that long. Bet they use a few songs like they did in the South Park movie.

Simpsons songs have sucked in recent years, so they better get some quality material in there.

South Park movie was only an hour and 18 minutes. Glad they released it though; it made up for the stinker of a second season they gave us.

Simpsons movie... 'bout an hour and a half, I reckon. Not sure about the story. I hope they don't try to make it too grand...

But, honestly... bootleg? Something I been waiting for for like 18 years and I'm gonna see a bootleg? It's like watching a tape of someone watching the moonlanding. I'll take a day trip to Hong Kong if it doesn't get released I've decided.

Hard to say. I think people who stopped watching a while back will still go check it out... A lot of people were disillusioned with the Simpsons losing it's edge and all, but I think most will be confident enough to catch the movie.

My wife said she thinks it'll be released. Not sure what she's basing that on, of course... but... there you have it.

I think that no matter when/if someone stopped watching the show they would give the movie a try.

I don't think it lost its edge too much. Last nights episode was funny as hell.

Didn't see last night's yet, but the last few have been brilliant. There was something in the Ice Cream man one that had me in stitches. Forget what at the moment, but it was damn funny.

This season is by far the best in the past... like... at least 5 years.

Just saw the one where Nelson makes Bart become his best friend. Hilarious.

Nelson is having a party but no one wants to go because they hate him. So Martin says that individually they are weak like one twig and he picks up a twig and breaks it. Then he picks up a bunch of sticks and says together they are strong like a f****t (bad word for a gay dude). Then at the bottom of the screen it defines it as: bind or tie up in or as if in a f****t. Cracked me up.

I'll check that one out soon. It was just on the other day. Must be funny.

I like the Simpsons, I don't think they'll have trouble making it an hour an a half, maybe they can actaully finish a storyline. The story bulids the entire show and it just ends. It takes a long time to get there but then its just over. But it always works out.

Alyssa likes the Simpson, I dont mind her watching that so much, but I don't let her watch American Dad or Family Guy, even though I like Family GUy.

You know, I'm wondering if the jokes in the simpsons movie will come as quick and as often as the TV show, or if they'll space them out a bit to make room for more "story".

I'd so hate it if they did that.

Have to imagine the running time will be about 90 minutes. A normal episode is about 23 minutes. So we're talking four episodes back-to-back.

But you know how The Simpsons does it. Something is going on, a wacky far out in left field event happens, the plot is about something else there is a humorous conclusion of sorts.
