We're starting out that celebration tonight... at the beach, with friends. BBQ and some Pale Moon ale. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ready for this. Only three hours to go, and then, I'm outta here! Be safe everyone.

I'm going to the OC tomorrow morning, getting the car worked on right now. Looks like I'm going solo but am meeting up with my bro's and it's going to be teeeeeeeeets.

Alright, I am about out for the weekend. Probably won't be back until the 5th or so. Actually might not hit the beach after all, plans are up in the air. I will make sure of one thing, I will have fun. You can believe that.

I will be sweating in a craft booth all day long on the 4th. Nothing fun going on for me the whole weekend too.

I'll be at the beach, with my friends. And I'll be watching awesome fireworks by the water

Well, I will be celebrating with Mr. Cuervo Saturday (tonight, I suppose it is now). But on the actual fourth I will be busy throwing my daughter her 13th birthday party. I'm guessing the theme of it will be "Let's see just how old we can make mom feel."

I don't know exactly what I'll be doing, but it'll probably involve beer of some sort.

I celebrated enough for everyone, last night!

On the 4th, we will actually be moving a lot of our stuff over to our new place.
But, we will probably grill out, and sit outside, and watch the fire works.

Dang, I don't get beer, fire works or even BBQ. Just work, work work, oh and a total redneck parade to watch complete with tractors and motorcycles and flag wearing rednecks.

We had a barbecue last night, but it wasn't in celebration of Independence Day. It was just because mom wasn't home yet and that's all the cooking dad does. We will have some fireworks by Monday.

Since I have a jewelry show on my b-day the 5th, I'm going to come home and drink a big ass watermellon.

I'm gonna drink some beer and work on some birdhouses. But just the painting part, I don't want to cut wood with the saw while hammered.

Might lose a finger.

Might bar-b-q some steak. My mom's birthday is on the 4th, might give her a call.

aww that would be nice to call your mom on her b-day.
I'll be watching tractors, old cars, motorcyles and rednecks go by in the "parade". Woo ! I just hope they are selling some BBQ at lunch. Some years they run out.

I was never a big fan of parades. I'm a homebody. Stay at home, watch the fireworks from the yard.

We don't have fireworks close to us. I hate the crowds, and Nikki is afraid of loud noises, so we have not gone in years.

The parade goes by the craft fair. They have a band that plays, so it is fun to see Nikki out there shaking it. Little kids dancing are really funny.

Only parade I seen, was the Edison Parade of Lights, down in Fort Myers.

Edison had a summer home in Fort Myers, where he did a lot of his experiments. He lived next door to Henry Ford, the auto maker.

To celebrate this, the city did a parade each year. To me, it was just a bunch of floats. I didn't "get it". Maybe I would enjoy it now that I'm an old timer.

This weekend was nice. Went to Disneyland (and it was not as packed as I would have expected!) and went to the beach nearly every day and saw fireworks over a lake which was awesome. I now look like a lobster but it's a price one has to pay, right?

Was in the OC until Monday which was the best trip I've had in years. A breath of fresh air and exactly what I needed. The two days kind of combined into one big party. Got back and went out that night with some buddies and was about a hair away from getting in a giant brawl. On the 4th went over to one of the peeps house for a BBQ and what turned into the best beer fueled fireworks show ever. Bunch of friends over, excellent food, couldn't have wanted it to go better.
