Will Fawkes become Harry's new pet?

Does anyone else think that Fawkes will come to Harry? J.K. Rowling said in an interview a few years ago that Harry would get a new pet.

Well, it's quite possible... because Fawkes knows how much Harry loves Dumbledore. And, I truly don't believe that Dumbledore is dead. So, he might send him off to watch over Harry, while he can't. Hell, maybe Dumbledore did die... but, somehow put himself into Fawkes.

I think that Fawkes will go to Harry because it is what Dumbledore wanted and because somehow Harry is related to Godric Gryffindor. Fawkes will once again help Harry just as he did for Dumbledore in book 5.

I don't think so. I'm sure that he will show up and help Harry, but I think that Fawkes is a one-owner kind of bird. Besides, what would Hedwig think of another bird hanging around? She got so jealous when Harry used other owls to send letters to Sirius.

Hedwig is a girl, and I think she might like Fawkes.

If a bird was half pheonix, what would that do to its special pheonix powers? I wonder if it would still be reborn?

Maybe it would just have the power to set fire to its feathers and grow them again quickly.
