HBP now out in paper-back

Book 6: HP & the Half-Blood Prince Forum

Today HBP was released in Paper-back.

I know people who only buy the book in paper back, so ive had to be carful what i say in front of them ... so hopfully soon ill be able to talk to them about it

There are some books that must be bought when they first come out, whether they are in paperback or not. The Harry Potter books are of that breed. Did your friends make it all this time without knowing what happened?

Yea ... i dont think there that big Harry potter fans ... "Awaist of money and shelf space" one said about hardbacks ...

Hes a stamp collector what else can i say ... he has a WHOLE room devoted to stamps

And he says that hardbacks are a waste of space?

I always get the hardcovers of Harry Potter. No other book series / author does that to me. The only reason, really, is that they have news reports all day showing the most important parts of the story the day the books come out. I had Sirius's death spoilt before I got to finish OotP, so I closed myself off to the whole world when HBP came out.

Spoilers are a problem ... the mean people who do it should be SHOT ... i did spoil it for myself though, by flipping to the back, it just so happens that i opened it on the tower scene

Usually I read the last few pages early, but I somehow made it through HBP without doing that. Now I just hope I can make it through the last one without spoiling myself.
