Harry Potter to Get IMAXimum Exposure

Harry Potter isn't just getting taller, he's getting bigger. Yesterday, Imax Corp. announced that the fifth installment of the franchise, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, would be released on its ginormous screens on July 13, 2007 - the same day it unspools in regular ol' theaters. But really, does anybody want to see a giant Dudley?

It's pretty damn cool. I saw Matrix Reloaded in IMAX. The screen is just massive. Thinking about seeing Superman Returns there too.

Well i think IMAX uses 4 special projectors where the film accually goes through a vacum, But i supose if u watch too many IMAX stuff ur get square eyes

We have an imax theatre here in San Diego, but they NEVER do the movies there... only special films (documentaries) and other things. They should do superman, and HP there.

We watched "Polar Express" last night, and I would have LOVED to have seen that on the imax screen.

They have the new X-Men at our IMAX. What to check it, if it didn't suck. But that end fight scene on IMAX would rule no matter what.

Eh, no biggie, they opened the 4th Harry Potter movie at the IMAX here on opening day. I think it'd be news if it didn't open at the IMAX.

Well, it appears that Ron can delay taking me out for my birthday movie date by a week next year. We have to celebrate me turning 39 for the first time next year.
