I was thinking of going to see Tarzan the musical in a couple weeks in New York and I was wondering if anyone had seen it or heard about it? The music's beautiful, I heard a couple songs from my coworker at UMGD and I loved it! Phil Collins did all the music and lyrics, and while I'm not usually a big fan of his, this album definitely won me over. I think the album comes out June 27th and whether or not I go see it live, I'll definitely be getting my copy of the album then! I've been checking out www.tarzanthemusical.com and the cast seems pretty promising but it's hard to judge...anyone heard the music or seen the production yet?

I haven't seen a good musical recently.

I went to see the Phantom of the opera (Andrew Lloyd Webber) at Southamptons Mayflower venue about five years ago and I saw the Pirates of Pensance (Gilbert and Sullivan) three years ago and Ruddigor(Gilbert and Sullivan) two years ago both the later at the Minack thertre.

(The Minack is this big Roman style ampitheter in the cliffs on the south coast of Cornwall)

We're going to see Rent, next month... and I can't wait. Could we have afforded it, we would be seeing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, this week, and Wicked in a few weeks as well.

I want to see Wicked. It sounds so cool. I guess I won't get the chance though.

I still love The Music Man. Such a good musical. Sweeney Todd is great also.

We're planning on seeing Chicago, when it comes here next summer.
All of the musicals are getting too damn expensive... and it's a shame.
If they were so pricy, more people would get to experience them, and find out how truly beautiful they are.

The last Broadway show I saw was Beauty and the Beast. It was pretty good .. the casting was well done, the songs were classic, and the background scenary was beautiful.

Lumiere was the best performance, though.

Rent was amazing... and I didn't want it to end. The moment the music started, my eyes were dripping with tears. I loved it.
