The Mysterious Black Smoke

It shows a few different pics, and clips, of the smoke.

It shows up above the engine, in the pilot episode, when it's about to explode. Interesting.

So, we've seen it several times.

That thing at the bottom, that's almost like a comic book page, is really interesting. According to it, the black smoke is the people from Dharma seeking new bodies

So THEY'RE ghosts...

I don't know that they are ghosts. I'm not sure if that link is an "official" page... or, a fan that saw these things and put the page together.

I know that I never noticed the black smoke over the engine until this was shown to me. So, it's very interesting.

I think the black smoke is a fart.

Back to our SERIOUS convo about the mysterious black smoke... and NOT farts!

That was an awesome toon at the bottom. First theory of whats going on that doesn't sound stupid. And it kind of fits what we know.


To think, the black smoke is former dharma group members, transformed into pure energy. And maybe Alvar himself is the fregin electro magnetic source they are trying to contain.

I don't know, sounds far fetched to me, don't think it's true, but that would make an excellent storyline.
