Gandalf or Dumbledore?

If I had to choose, I say the Lord of the Rings guy. He took out a dragon and some freak show army. Dumbledore babysits English kids. No contest.

I voted "can't choose". They are different. Galdalf wields a sword and defeated the balrog.

Dumbledore fought Voldemort and still stayed alive. He was brilliant in mind.

I love them both.

They are both very smart, very powerful, and very old. They are also both willing to sacrifice themselves for the greater good.

I'm afraid that I have to vote for Gandalf. After all his is a lesser god where as Dumbledore, while being a great character, is just human.

You know? I might have to agree with you somewhat White Tiger. Seeing as Gandalf came back from death and Dumbledore didn't. That has to give Gandalf some points right?

Well, I still do believe that Dumbledore is dead... I refuse to believe it until the ending of book seven.

I'm not believing Dumbledore is dead until I read the last word of book 7 . I have the right to cling to that hope.

Gandanlf was tough, but Dumbledore was cool. He never got really angry, he was just so at ease with his powers.

See, even Sherry is holding on to hope that the GREAT, Albus Dumbledore, is still alive.

Though, he did yell during the second task in the triwizard tournment!

Really? I seem to remember him losing his cool with Harry at some point in book five or six? But I don't remember much of book five, so I could have just made that up...

He never lost his cool with Voldemort. He kept calling him Tom.

Dumbledore yelled in the movie, not so much in the books.

Then again, any wizard who has a name that ends with "ALF" can't be either...

I guess of the two evils, I would say the lesser is Gandalf. Therefore, my vote is for Gandalf. I would've voted for Merlin, but he was conveniently left out of the running...

hmmm wonder if harry will die in the last book? never read them but i've always thought that -
For voldemort to die, harry must as well - through some weird life line type bond. always thought that since the 2nd movie.
