I dig that song! AC/DC Back In Black is another one.
I have a mix CD with a few crankable songs, like Queen's We Will Rock You and Twisted Sister's We're Not Gonna Take It.

| Posted by: HECK! | | Queen has a few, like Another One Bites The Dust. That rules.

| Posted by: HECK! | | YES. Aerosmith rules. Anything from 'Get A Grip' I rock out to.
What about that song that's always at sports games, 'duh-duh duh-duuuuuuuh-duh HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY! duh-duh-duh-duh HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!' That rules.

| Posted by: fuscia | | well in our family Roxanne gets cranked. ANY Police song gets cranked. Nothing like a car full of kids singing Roxanne to make you smile. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: fuscia | | Hey Damon had difficulty speaking, and he loved my Police CD. It's not my fault that he decided at two to break out into song with "Roxanne" in front of a bunch of old ladies at the grocery store.

| Posted by: HECK! | | I think it's totally awesome. Hundred times better than a Barney song. I think I was singing 'Beat It' when I was that age

| Posted by: Marc Flemming | | Just about every good song from AC/DC requires crankage. Some others:
- Pour Some Sugar on Me, Def Leppard
- Stinkfist & Eulogy, Tool
- Blackened, Metallica
- Die Born, Days of the New | | Reply To this Message

Free Bird -- Lynyrd Skynyrd |
Played rhythm guitar and sang this in my high school rock band.
Happens to be absolutely the most fun song to play on the guitar! And perhaps the easiest song to play as well...maybe that is why it is so fun.
How about Enjoy the Silence or Policy of Truth or World in My Eyes by Depeche Mode?
or...
Your Song by Elton John
some people may think ballads are not worthy of 500watts per channel, but I do.
And I saw on TV that Elton and Bernie Taupin are back together...not only for just songwriting purposes either.

| Posted by: gaboman | | One Week by Barenaked Ladies. Always have to try and sing along with that one... "ya mumamsma hood wink, to make you stop think, you think you're looking at aquaman, I mummble mumble... sushi cause it never touch a frying pan, hot like wasabi when I bust-rhymes... mumble mumble Leanne Rhymes!"
Like HECK!, I've got a CD of crankable songs in the car. Forget exactly what's on it. Lemme think... Bohemian Rapsidy (Queen), Eagle Fly Free (Helloween), Final Countdown (Europe), All My Love (Beatles cover by Helloween), It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock'n'Roll) (AC/DC)... it has some Beach Boys on there, I believe. And a fair few David Bowie songs (Rebel Rebel, I think... as well as Magic Dance from the Labyrinth soundtrack... and Uncle Arthur, if anyone even knows that song).
I'm with Nikita, though: ballads are the best to put on high volume. | | Reply To this Message

| Posted by: frogglegs | | I think anything by Van Halen, Scorpions, KISS, and Lenny Kravitz is good to crank up LOUD! One song that I love cranking up loud is Van Halen's "Beautiful Girls." Actually, that song makes me just wanna drive fast, but I don't otherwise I'd die. What do you guys think of this song?
