This show looks way fun. Kind of like an Amazing Race treasure hunt. I will totally check it out, look forward to it.

I have been thinking it could be very much like The Great Race meets CSI.

It does sort of look like that kind of show, doesn't it? I can't wait.

Starts this Sunday, can't wait. Hope the play at home deal is worthwhile, not cheesy and lame text messaging.

The clues and challenges better be tough, also. They need to work for it, given little help.

The stealing stuff I like, makes it funner. Lie, cheat and steal if you have to. I was just surprised to see the Churchy family draw first blood. Don't think it's wrong, apart of the game.

I think the Young Pro's calling the Hanlon's was lame. Shouldn't be allowed to call for help, they have a damn computer, figure it out.

The producers have done a great job of keeping on the tension and sense of urgency. It's almost like watching 24.

Hey HECK, I'm confused. You have the Ram avatar, but if you are a fan of real football, you must be a Florida Gator fan.

Ah, I see we have another foobtall fan here.

The title was more of a slam to the soccer craze going on these days.

Should I break out the USC avatar then?

Didn't it seem like the Geniuses weren't all that smart, I think maybe they over think things. The Southie Boys arn't all the bright either.

I do like how they have the groups of professionals vs some regular everyday people. Kind of a neat twist. And we'll see who cheats to get what they want and who are the most ethical and those that you think should behave one why behave just the opposite.

I wont reveal the winner because I wont...you'll soon find out.

The one thing that pissed me off...is that the show was over in 15 minutes. The rest was a reunion show of sorts..

There was really no thrill in the end...it just ended.

So...with that said..

CONGRATS to the winners.

What did you think of it? For me, it was such a let down from the show all season. It was like 15 or so minutes of watching the teams like sleep, and play with their cryptexes.

I dont know what I was looking for it to be...but it wasnt what I saw.

It would have been much better if they would have shown the finale last week and made it a two hour special...but it was cut off last week and then this crap arrived.

I know they showed the repeat from last week again, but I already saw that...I was looking for the whole show tonight to be good; thrilling at least.

They should have done it like Survivor. Show the finale for an hour and then do the reunion show.

For me, the final epsiode sucked.

Yeah, I was a bit let down. But, what can you do?

I was bummed that the Air Force didn't win... but, I was happy that the Southie Boys didn't take home the gold.

That was great that they each won One million dollars. Sweet bounty.
Of course, after taxes they walk away with a little over half of that... still, more than they had.

I agree, I didnt want the Southie boys to win, so at least that was good.

I cant help but think that they were each talking about how their parents or grandparents could retire, and then paying for med school. I mean even $700,000 or even less wont allow someone's parents or grandparents to retire and then still pay for med school. No way. Unless they invest it smartly, but even then, I cant see anyone really retiring with only 500,000 or so and then still using some of that to pay for like Med school, which alone can cost 200,000 - 300,000.

Geniuses?

Total congrats to the winners, they came through.

I kind of knew the finale would be short. Seemed like it was about to end last week. The finale really did suck though, not so much the anti-climatic way the Genuises won, the whole 'B' team quickie Treasure Hunters were totally lame. The Q&A was boring. I didn't even know the amount of the Treasure was in question. I just figured they would each get a million.

Overall, solid season and worth watching. Finale kind of licked but what can you do.

Does anyone else think the answer to the Cryptext was stupid?

I thought that the answer to the cryptext was lame ass... but, it took the geniuses almost 6 hours to figure it out. So, it was hard.

I laughed when they said about family retiring... because I KNEW that they wouldn't be getting THAT much money.

I hope that there will be more Treasure Hunters made... but, they will definately have to put a lot of time in to it. It was really good. And I would watch it again.

After taxes they get what, little over half a million? The grandparents can't retire on that? Maybe if they want to live on the moon or something. That's a lot of dough.

Yeah, I think that it's about half... somewhere between 500 - 600k. Still, that's a nice chunk, to go to medical school, and have it COMPLETELY paid for. They are all three lucky kids. I think that they will do great.

But, I'm STILL bummed that my team didn't get it first.

Did anyone notice, during the finale reunion, that the wife on Team Air Force was really prego?

The dudes are set regardless. They don't have to really worry about money if they play their cards right. I think they will do alright.

AF didn't win, but I found myself not liking them as much as time went on. They called themselves robots or something and I totally agreed. They were really lacking on the personality. Good team though, really tough and I thought they would take it. Chick was super prego too. Wonder if she was prego during the show? When was it filmed?

I have no idea how much time elapsed!!! But, it was probably a few months.

Oh, I totally loved when they were talking to the Air Force team, about the Fogels, and how they said that they had a totally different experience with them. And that the Fogels said that if it came down to the two of them, they would let them go forward.... and that they had, in the one where the Fogels got eliminated. I believe, had the Air Force team won, they would have given the Fogels some money.

I don't even know that the Fogals gave up. They were playing the "oh we're going to lose anyway so let's play like we don't care and will throw it." Ironically, these people remind me of this insane uber religious family from The Amazing Race two seasons ago. They were the worst. No father, two Katie's, a son that didn't talk and a manic mother. Horrible.

Fogals even tried to recant all they did. Please. They were dirty and pathetic. They use their religion as a crutch and an excuse.

My Geniuses can use of of that money to get girls. They are gonna have to have a "kitty" fund. Especially Mutton Chops and Tubby. I'm thinking they don't have girlfriends....so I want to put myself out there for MC Genius.

Too bad AF didn't win, but I'm okay with the Geniuses winning. I wouldn't have thought the five letters would be a name; good job Geniuses

Of course I was rooting for the Air Force, I really think the geniuses lucked out and I still don't know he figured that out. I think that they over thought much of it but hey I'll give em props for that last cryptec.

AF was in the lead most of the way, almost lost it once. Smarties were at the tail end a lot but pulled it out when it counted. Everyone was stumped at the end but MC Nerdo just cracked it out of nowhere, gotta respect that. I thought the Souties would randomly get it on the boat somehow.
